Pancheros continues to be my go-to place well before any of the other brands such as chipotle. They mix everything together in their burritos so you actually get everything in one bite, AND they make the flour shell right there on the spot. I dropped it one star for a couple of reasons, and I hope the manager sees this and can possibly do something about it:
you occasionally have shrimp… but why only occasionally? That is my number one thing to get in my burritos. If you had shrimp always on your menu, I’d be visiting you twice a week on my lunch breaks. I bet you that others would do the same. Many people are avoiding meat, but they still eat seafood. You’re missing out on a major component of your burritos. No one is going to want to call to see if you have it, and therefore you’re likely missing out on completely dominating the market because you’re so much better than the others without a doubt.
hate to say it, but, if someone gets a veggie burrito and they’re not adding meat (which is costly), guac should absolutely be free. Only in that scenario, though. Those little things make a big difference to your customers, and may be that one added thing that make people choose the competition, instead.
Everyone is always nice and welcoming at this location. Perhaps if you make those two changes, I’ll see...

The food quality is good and fresh. I was pleased with the outcome. I’m more of a corn tortilla fan - not so much flour. But the flour tortillas at Pancheros are freshly made which sets them apart from the rest. And tastes great! I had a chicken burrito with rice, black beans, grilled peppers, cheese, corn, and guacamole. I will be back to visit and try some other protein options like the carnitas.
Prices are fair. A little overpriced for 2-tacos. Which led me to order a burrito for a dollar difference. However, I spent less than I would have if I had gone to Chipotle. And would prefer Pancheros over them too- in my opinion.
The atmosphere isn’t the best if you want to dine in. Meaning, don't expect any music or modern decor. But it's worth stopping by and grabbing some food to-go if you...
Read moreWhy a place people eat dinner at closes at 9 normally is beyond me, but I would think they would at least stay open until their stated hours. We drove 45 or so min out of the way to go here because we love Pancheros and there's not one near us, just to get there and they decided to close at least 10 minutes early randomly. There were other people who also were turned away. They didn't even lock the door, they just told us "were closed" when we went to order, rudely too. It wasn't an emergency or anything, they just decided to do training while they were supposed to be open. Not to mention, they're ALWAYS training at both this location and the Media one. While the NJ ones seem to magically be able to retain staff. Must be different management - just drive out to NJ and don't waste...
