I was a 64 year old committed flip phone user until last Saturday when my husband washed my phone along with the clothes in the washing machine. We drove to this Verizon store in Springhouse to order a new one. But Cassidy then started patiently explaining why I might choose to convert to a smart phone, including the minimal costs attached to that, and the advantages that would come with it. She told me the story of her own mother who had similarly just made this switch, and how well she was doing with it. So I agreed. Cassidy quickly set my phone up, and even offered to take the time to transfer hundreds of photos from our son's phone who had passed away so they could be safely stored in the Google cloud. What an unexpected blessing this was! Due to her experience and patience and teaching ability, she carefully went through all the major things that new customers tend to get hung up on when starting out on a smart phone, as well as common mistakes. She even offered if I ever get stuck, I was just to stop in and she would be happy to help me! My experience is that this Verizon store is staffed by professional, well trained, experienced, polite, FRIENDLY, and patient people like Cassidy who go out of their way to provide not just a new phone, but everything you need to know to be able to use it proficiently. I have now had my smart phone for 5 days and am absolutely loving all the things I can do with it. I purchased a new phone at the Willow Grove Verizon store this morning, only to get home and realize that the new phone was neither activated nor functioning. After two hours of exhausting failed attempts to get my new phone to work and my old phone to transfer data, I felt utterly defeated and frustrated. Enter Ari from Verizon's Ambler store! He was able to remedy the errors of my previous Solutions Specialist, and he did so with an enthusiastic smile, a helpful heart, and entertaining charm. Like a modern-day phone Houdini, he miraculously solved all of my problems with patience and poise. Ari went to herculean lengths to ensure that my new phone worked and that all applicable discounts and offers were upgraded to my account. I joyfully left with a teacher's discount, a new iPad to use for my classroom, and other accessories to make my hectic life as a virtual educator and toddler Mom far more manageable. Truly, Ari was a lifesaver today. He restored my confidence in Verizon as a wireless cell phone carrier, and he renewed my faith in humanity by just being a good person who dropped everything to help me. I hope Ari could tell how much I was smiling behind my mask. I will return to this Verizon store, and I promise to always seek out Ari's help on all future Verizon purchases. Visits to the wireless store have always been a dreaded event for me; painful and avoided until absolutely necessary. On Saturday 1/15, my BF and I reluctantly visited the Verizon Store in Springhouse PA to try to get an issue resolved after another Verizon store messed up an order. Our many subsequent chats and phone calls with Verizon attempting to get the issue rectified proved to be frustrating and fruitless, so off we went. We were helped by Ari Horne, and he was absolutely awesome! After reviewing our account, he explained to us what the issue was and called Verizon to have it corrected. Once the issue was fixed, he assisted us with a device upgrade, taking the time to thoroughly explain the pros and cons of each phone so that we could make the choice that worked best for us. He then worked diligently to transfer as much content as he could over from the old Google Phone to the new iphone. It was taking a while, and we were hungry, so he even made a recommendation for where we could go to grab a late lunch while he continued working on the transfer. We have never, ever, had such a pleasant experience at a phone store. Ari was so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, and turned what was a dreaded visit into a really positive experience....
