After quite a wait to be noticed by the staff in the back we purchased some desserts for Mother's Day, including a dino and flower cookie for my granddaughter. When we got them home we were disappointed to find the dino cookie was broken and the flower cookie looked discolored, not at all like the one in the case. While we were very careful with the cookies, we cannot say for sure the dino cookie was broken when we bought it. However the flower cookie must have been one of the worst looking in the group. If we buy again, we will be sure to look at what we buy before we leave the counter. Note: A few days later we returned to the bakery and ordered the same cookies, including an extra one. The young lady pleasantly showed us the cookies as she put them in the bag, and they were in perfect shape. This was more like the delicious baked goods and excellent service we have...

First of all, everything has that Italian anise flavoring to it. Which is really annoying because if you are going to not have Italian in your company name why should I be tasting it’s flavoring? All the cookies taste that way. If I wanted to buy anise/fennel flavoring I would go to Reading or Italian market. NEXT- the head woman who was running the show the day went there was a nasty ornery scowling woman at her counter girl who asked my question to her about the contents of their products - why does that require such ire and nastiness in this day and age when every bakery worth their salt caters to different diet types? And why on earth would you get spicy at the cheerful counter girl for doing her job? I WILL NEVER BUY YOUR SPITEFUL FOOD. There is no love in that company. GROSS. And enough with the anise...

The women who took my order today is rude!! I went in 3 days ago to get a muffin and she said we have a $10 minimum of you can pay .50 cents for a credit card fee. I said no problem. I payed the extra .50 cents for the credit card fee. I went in 3 days later for the same thing and all a sudden the same rude women tells me they don’t do that anymore. Interesting.
