First let me say this is a beautiful venue ! The ambiance is amazing. The food was delicious! We ordered cauliflower poāboy, it was fresh, seasoned and left us wanting to try more from the menu, which we did haha had a Togo order of melt in your mouth shoe string French fries that we saw everyone ordering , shrimp tacos and cauliflower tacos every item was 10/10. The sauces were delicious. A true hidden gem for foodies. I literally have no complaints at all! We may come back tomorrow just for the cauliflower po boy lol I never had anything like it! The server was so sweet and agile lol, delivering food to everyone in the crowd . The entire venue was CLEAN!I noticed continuous maintenance. From the bathroom to the bar counters and the General admission floor, everything was kept clean which is rare for a Philly venue spot. Again 10/10! the staff was very accommodating to our special needs for the concert. If you are handicapped I suggest calling once you book so they can have everything ready for you once you arrive. I wish I could hug them all for helping my handicapped little sister have such a great night!it was her first concert and it would not have been possible without Ardmore music hall. I canāt praise them enough. customer service 10/10!! I definitely want to try the drinks when visiting again the menu looked abundant. This might be the best spot in Philly to a see live music. Even if you arenāt coming to see an artist you love it is definitely worth checking out whoās on the lineup for date night. Such a Vibe !we are very excited to return. Thank you again for everything. Ā Ā Ā Read moreShame on Ardmore Music Hall! Went to see our good friend's band tonight, my wife Susan has a bad back, she walks with a cane, has 1 foot that she can barely walk with and also has panic attacks when under any kind of duress. We are both 55 years old going on 56. The first band finished playing, Susan said she was going outside to smoke a cigarette. She came back and said they wouldn't let her out back and wanted a 55 year old handicapped woman on a cane that can't quite walk great to walk all the way through the crowd out to the front when the back door was 15 feet away. I went over with Susan to kindly ask the staff if she could step out for a smoke and the young staff members said no. My wife said, then we are leaving and our car is parked out back right there, we are going. She tried to walk out the back door and the young staff members held this woman on a cane, my wife back and impeded her movement., Susan had a major panic attack and was screaming and crying uncontrollably as they held her and then they let her go. Susan was traumatized from the time we left until we got home and she went to bed sobbing. All we did was go to see a band at Ardmore Music Hall and we were treated as if we were 25 years old. She already feels bad enough that she has been on a cane for over a year. A very disrespectful incident on the part of the young Ardmore Music Hall staff to treat an elder and a handicapped person this way. If you are handicapped you can probably relate. I am very upset that my wife was traumatized by the Ardmore Music Hall staff. I felt the need to let people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Ardmore Music Hall is a great venue, probably one of the best in the Philadelphia area. They host all kinds of acts from stand up comedy to Victor Wooten, perhaps the best bassist in the world today. The staff is incredible (at least four or five of my fantastic friends work there) and those who I do not know are also awesome. They are there to help you safely have a good time and they do a great job at it. Coat check is available for just a few bucks, the food is great and they have an ever changing but always awesome selection of IPAs. The AMH also has a huge heart. Two of my favorite shows there were memorial concerts for members of the Philly music scene who passed, both - sadly - gone long before their time. The first memorial was for Mark Watson, a well known and much adored drummer, who both I and my brother played music with many times. I was lucky enough not only to know Mark and play music with him, but I performed at his memorial to honor him as well. Very much more recently (just a week or two ago), was the memorial for Ian McGuire. Ian was well known as a true virtuoso and an extremely kind and unique soul. This was exceptionally touching and inspiring event where the community came together to grieve, but mostly to celebrate the life of Ian McGuire. In the pictures that I post, the screen in the background hlbegind the stage is showing a touching sideshow of pictures of Ian. What a beautiful thing for the Ardmore Music Hall to embrace. If the AMH was closer to my house, I would be there a few times a week. What a...
