My first memories of Hazy’s are anything but hazy thanks to the incredible experience Ron and his team delivered.
My cousin, her husband, and I stumbled into Hazy’s after my father’s celebration of life, looking for a place to breathe, process, and let the heaviness of the day lift, even just a little. It quickly became apparent that Hazy’s is one of those rare spots that understands people as much as they understand hospitality.
The drink selection was extensive without being overwhelming, and I was impressed to see options that perfectly matched our three very different palates. The staff made us feel cared for without hovering, offering refills before we even realized our glasses were low, which made the whole evening feel effortless.
And then there was the food, truly the standout of the night! We ordered the pretzel and chicken bites, and all three of us agreed they were among the best we’d ever had, bar or otherwise. We loved that each came with a combination of dips and the fact that we each had a different favorite speaks volumes about the chef’s skill and creativity. Since that first visit, I’ve followed Hazy’s on Facebook, and week after week, I see that same culinary innovation and creativity—especially in their Taco Tuesday specials.
If I have one regret from that day, it’s that we weren’t hungrier. The Caprese tacos they recently posted on social media have been living rent-free in my mind ever since, and they’ve officially cemented dinner at Hazy’s as a non-negotiable next time I’m in town.
As a bartender myself, I can’t help but view every restaurant and bar through a more critical lens. I pay attention to the details—service, timing, menu balance, vibe—and I can honestly say Hazy’s nailed every single one making this the easiest 5 star review...
Read moreSo I'm really picky about food I guess if you were going to my Checkers review or any of my other reviews but let me tell you the food is amazing I would highly recommend it it's bar food obviously but they have every other bar has ,but for some reason , it might be the cook the food their meaning quality or ancombo of the 2 but thst to me make makes me wait to eat until i geet there , which says something because I'm kind of picky about where I eat and what I am what I eat but it's amazing for their food as you can tell they have to pool tables obviously then so it's so far kind of scene lots of TV for the sports fans, they have a wrap around bar it's off to the side and then a secondary room that has two pool tables in it. So far all the barmaids seem very nice the TVs they just got some smart TVs into so maybe I don't know live streaming is coming next I don't know I don't know what that means but whatever I recommend this place I would give them a five but then they have to live up to that expectation so I didn't 4 stars get some room...
Read moreFriendly staff and very reasonable prices. It’s a smoking bar, which isn’t my first choice for a spot to hang out, but the bartenders and even the regulars are just so easy to get along with that it becomes a point I’m willing to deal with.
The cherry on top? Jesus Christ this place has the best bar food in the area BY A MILE. The menu is creative, the prices are great, the portions are generous, everything I saw served looked homemade, and the cheesesteak I had (the Trenton Steak) was absolutely amazing. I inhaled it.
Here’s my dilemma: one hand, they deserve the word to get out about how great they are; on the other, I kinda like having it to myself.
In either case, terrific work from...
