O'Hana Ramen & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Lubbock

Excellent place to eat & hang out, my wife & I highly recommend you try it! Vibe is awesome (feels kinda fancy, but also chill). Service was friendly, accurate, and very fast. We will definitely be back soon. As for the food:

Sushi: My wife & I agree: best we've found in Lubbock so far. Will definitely be back to try more!

Chicken & Noodles: Delicious. Well-balanced flavors, with a hint of sweetness - but not too much! 😃 Would order again.

Spicy Beef Ramen: Very good. Quality ingredients & smooth flavor - easily beats microwave ramen (& TBH I love that stuff 😂). I plan to try their other ramen bowls like Black Garlic & even Parmesan Chicken. Also, you get a giant bowl, so the value is good, & unless you're a growing teenager you'll probably have leftovers to take home.

Spicy beef was barely spicy at all to me, so no need for fear if you want a little kick without completely torching your tastebuds. (I do have a fairly high tolerance for spiciness, but my wife agrees that it was hardly spicy at all, and her tolerance is much lower.)

Tempura Ice Cream: Amazing! I'm not usually a big dessert fan, but I'm very glad we tried this. I'm not even gonna try to describe this, just trust me if you will, & try it for yourself!

Conclusion: Zero complaints, five stars on all fronts. Good value, prices are fair - and for some things, less than I expected. (TBH some of the cocktails do seem priced slightly higher than average, but I have not tried any yet so I can't speak to that. If they're as good as the food, I'd happily pay the extra. I think I'll try one next time.) We completely enjoyed eating here, and hope more Lubbock people discover and support this...

INCREDIBLE! I was blown away by the quality of the service and the food!

I have enjoyed my share of sushi, nigiri, and sashimi over the years, and O'hana is the BEST I have had! Amazing! We went as a family and sampled each other's dishes, and I was so impressed!

At the top of my list: the nigiris and sashimi were the best I've ever had; they were so clean, fresh, and beautifully presented. Exceptional!

I love the savory flavors in the Texas Tech Roll; the sliced jalapeños complemented perfectly without overpowering.

I forgot to take a photo of the Tornado Roll, but I enjoyed the creaminess, the crisp fried edges, and the crunch of the fresh diced jalapeños in the center.

The Crazy Tuna Roll was great; I enjoyed the accent of black pepper.

The Phoenix Roll was excellent; the crab was perfect. And the tempura gave a great crunchy texture along with the great flavors.

The chicken and noodles dish was savory and delicious, and the spicy edamame had a fun and zesty seasoning that added nice texture without being too spicy for my kids to enjoy it.

Finally, the dessert. Wow! The presentation of the blue flame surrounding the cheesecake was remarkable! Such a wonderful and memorable experience! And the hint of marshmallow flavor complemented the cheesecake so well.

The wait staff were so pleasant and sincere, and the food service was prompt.

Incredible! Well...

The food was good, I liked it, I ate there one day, and liked it so much I came the next day, Second time upset my stomach though. I really did like it until an instance today. I got the strawberry lemonade and they told me specifically that the lemonade was free refills, so I’m okay with that. When I need a refill another waiter stopped by and asked and said that lemonade was free but strawberry was not. So I turn to my partner and say Is normal okay? And we say yeah, and I know for a fact that I said Normal lemonade…my cup wasn’t even empty I only wanted one for her, but then the waitress comes back with 2 strawberry lemonades. I think to myself “oh okay I guess strawberry lemonade refills were free, and that she was talking about some other addon” and continue. Comes the bill and I’m charged for 4 drinks(keep in mind we’re two people and the drinks alone came up to almost twenty dollars. Crazy expensive per drink but it’s whatever) I ask about it and they explain then I explain I wanted the free refill one, they say that I must’ve miss understood. Didn’t want to cause a scene so I paid left an 18% tip and just left. Its really disappointing when you know that a refill only costs them 10-20 cents on average yet I was charged like an extra $9 for it. I liked the food, disappointed this...
