Eddie's Diner in Wylie, TX has quickly become my go-to spot for a satisfying meal, no matter the time of day. I've been there three times now and each visit has been a hit!
My first experience was all about their double-stacked burger and fries. This burger is perfectly sized. The flavor was fantastic and it was definitely more than enough to fill me up.
The second time around, I joined some friends for breakfast. I opted for the sausage biscuits and gravy with a hot chocolate. The buttermilk biscuits were perfectly fluffy and the homemade gravy was absolutely delicious.
On my most recent trip, I decided to try something new and went for the Chicken Ranch Panini. Wow! This is now my favorite. Served on focaccia bread with Swiss cheese and ranch, it's a nice changeup from everything else in the area.
Eddie's Diner consistently delivers delicious food and generous portions, whether you're craving breakfast or lunch. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Wylie area. You won't be...
Read moreFood: Astounding. There's a VARIETY of breakfast foods available! From simple flavors to amazing explosions. I swear I'm not a family-friend, the BAT BENEDICT is PHENOMENAL. Their kitchen is open concept and you can see the food as it comes out, all of it looks visually nice as well.
Service: Paige was our waitress. She went over the menu with us, offered the most popular, was very informative. The whole team communicated really well. The owner, Eddie, was onsite and walking around, talking with guests. We added a photo of their assigned tables for the day, we thought the now for the team was super fun, light hearted.
Atmosphere: Overall, this is a great place to take family or dates. Very clean, there's counter seating, booths and tables. We will definitely be back. Everything was fresh, our drinks stayed filled, and the staff is so friendly and work together very well. Love it! Thank you...

I was told substitutions are not allowed and was encouraged to order gluten-free pancakes ($11.95) plus a side of chicken apple sausage ($5.95) and a side of hashbrowns ($3.95). That would have cost significantly more than the meal I actually wanted.
I asked to speak with a manager just to verify that no substitutions are allowed, but was told the manager was busy and that she would say the same thing because “it’s the policy.”
Overall, the lack of flexibility and the dismissive response when asking for clarification left a...
