We ordered the chef's favorite burritos, the pork belly tacos, and general tso's wings (bone-in) for pick up. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. Although small, they did an excellent job renovating the space. There was a small but quaint looking dining space on the other side of the building too. The burritos would have been really good, but the saltiness of the steak overpowered the flavor. Way too much salt. The tacos had good flavor with the pineapple, green onion, and other toppings but they were soggy and cold by the time I got home (5 minutes). Unfortunately, with cold toppings and wet ingredients that will happen. Maybe they are better fresh when you dine in. The wings were surprisingly large and were excellent. I might try them extra crispy next time but they were honestly the best part. Overall, pretty good food albeit a little pricey. We will definitely try some other items on their menu...
Read moreFor reference, I never leave reviews, but this one was worth taking the time to do, because even days later, this burrito is still on my mind.
Walked in to place an order and the nice girl at the counter gave me a recommendation after I told her I was unsure what I wanted. I was recommended two separate meals prior to coming here by different people. I figured, the person who works here knows best. Tried the jerk chicken burrito as it comes on the menu. 13/10 absolutely unreal flavor. I’ve never had jerk chicken, or slaw, but this was a masterpiece. I am never impressed by quick lunches like this, but this one was different. Days later and I’m still thinking about this burrito. Ludlow….do not let this business leave town, ever…
To the owner, girl at the counter, and gentleman in the back preparing the food, great job. I will be...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place, Mexican food in Ludlow, what! First off, not Mexican. Unless the only requirement is to make things shaped like tacos. Girl at the counter was very nice but everything was so hectic; poor design with kitchen people yelling at each other one foot away while you try to order in a tiny lobby that gets pretty packed, while that girl also takes phone calls. Very disappointed with the cauliflower tacos and nachos, veggie quesadilla was pretty good. Also, no beer and it was literally on the sign. Hopefully they'll rectify that if they haven't already. I planned on dining in but couldn't get out of this hot, loud, tiny place fast enough. Prices are high to top it off, go to Frontera if you need Mexican...
