Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lumberton

Let me tell you about my FAVORITE Dunkin location. The staff here are beyond kind. They are always smiling, making small talk with me, going above and beyond on my orders and always wish me a great day. When I've had something wrong with my order (maybe 2 times), they fixed it with out any problem. When I didn't know what I wanted, asked a million questions and then just ended up getting something different, they still helped me with no attitude and a smile. They make recommendations, they clarify, and they seem to always be in a good mood. I work in customer service and I'm perfectly fine if someone has an off day and I know we "fake it till we make it", but I don't think I could ever tell if someone here was even faking having a good day. I've gotten coffee and goodies from here SUPER early in the am, in the afternoon and just moments before they closed and have never had a bad experience here. I come here for the coffee and little goodies, but I stay for the staff. ☕️ 🍩...

I’ve constantly been disappointed by this store. One time I went in an hour before close and was told by one of the workers that they don’t have anymore donuts because they threw all of them away. Another time I went there to the drive thru and the 2 employees on duty were outside playing in the parking lot. One was skating on his skateboard and the other was filming him. This morning was the final straw. I ordered the same donut I always get at Dunkin when I go and it was literally half the size it always is. I didn’t have time to turn around and go back because I was on my way to work. They also told me they don’t have milk at that store so I don’t know if they were just out or what because I know I’ve gotten one there before. All the employees I’ve seen there are high school students, which is fine, but most don’t even seem to care or have good work ethic. I started working in the service industry at 16 so I know how it is but the fact that this is a reoccurring thing is...

...I just had to change the review.. I bought three glazed donuts and a coffee donut with a large coffee. These are the worse donuts I have eaten this century. The glazed were literally like eating cardboard with a little sugar coating. No flavor other than something close to old cooking oil. I could only eat one and a half. Not sweet at all. Seemed days old. No melt in your mouth enjoyment. That is the same thing with the coffee donut. Very little cinnamon and barely sweet. Ate less than half. Rest of this garbage went into the trash. I wasted 7.20 at this place. Is there is sugar shortage? When I walked in there were several gentlemen there getting their orders finished up. No employees. After a couple minutes I had to call back to the kitchen for help. Note I could have stolen what I wanted in this time. There were 3 employees in this store and none up front. Only thing that was decent was the coffee.. Happy Donuts...
