McDonald's — Restaurant in Lumberton

You guys make ordering on the mobile app abysmal. Some of us are barely scraping by and need those coupons, yet there is no assistance inside the store for people obviously struggling to use the app at a kiosk. I was blatantly ignored by the manager on duty. Then, the cherry on top is that once i decided to try it another (unpreferred) way, placing a mobile order, i found out at the end of the checkout process that this location doesn't let you order counter pickup mobile orders past the early afternoon. What lazy customer service. It doesn't take any more effort to hand something to me at the counter rather than out the drive thru window. You guys made my three year old little girl cry because she thought she could get food when she was hungry but now I'm having to sit curbside waiting for my order so i can take it in the restaurant and eat it. She thought we were leaving and even though I told her we aren't, she is three and can't grasp why i have to leave in the car so we can eat in the restaurant. This is ridiculous. Fix your policies. Find more helpful employees.

Edit: moved the food from 2 stars to one star because i waited curbside for 15 minutes before someone came out and said they can't see my mobile order inside, even though she said the food was prepped for it. (?) Said their system was down for an hour and they've been having issues all night. (Why wasn't i informed of this by the manager on duty ORIGINALLY when i was struggling with the app at the kiosk?? Oh yeah because she ignored me.) The lady asked to see my receipt in the app. Tried to memorize my order, couldn't, came back with a pen to write down my order and wrote it down wrong. Like why even go get the pen? Should've just tried to memorize it if you're still gonna get it wrong. Burger made incorrectly and wrong flavor of drink. Fry containers also not filled all the way.

Monday August 11 , 2025 my friend went to Lumberton TX McDonald's and she ordered three hot & spicy chicken sandwiches & one hamburger 🍔 & so she brought our hot & spicy chicken sandwiches back to us & her daughter bite into her hot & spicy chicken sandwich & started spitting her hot & spicy chicken sandwich out cause come to find out her hot & spicy chicken sandwich had some bone piece s in that hot & spicy chicken sandwich. So my friend called that McDonald's and had told about her daughter biting into a some pieces of bone in her hot & spicy chicken sandwich & my friend told her that we are bringing that hot & spicy chicken sandwich & pieces of bone back up there to them . So when her & her daughter went into McDonald's to show them that hot & spicy chicken sandwich and pieces of bone the lady didn't won't to believe her that that bone piece couldn't have came out of that hot & spicy chicken sandwich & wanted to give my friend & her daughter a hard time of believing them & didn't really want give her daughter a refund for that hot & spicy chicken sandwich having pieces of bone in that sandwich , but she did replaced that hot & spicy chicken & bone pieces sandwich with a large fries 🍟 after all . So fair warning everyone who buys hot & spicy chicken sandwich should check it for bone...

This is one of the most friendly McDonald's I've ever visited. They keep the outside of there restaurant well swept, free of litter and landscaping is well maintained. Sadly, I have a tendency to judge a book by the cover, so some McDonald's I will not even park, that's strictly based upon parking lot appearance alone. The inside is updated, very clean, the seating is clean and dry, ( not sticky ) the bathrooms are extremely clean, tidy & always very well stocked. If it's a Friday and the High School has a home game, your gonna have a little wait, but it's nice to see so many families spending quality time together so a little wait on a Friday night is totally ok with me! The service has gotten better over the last 2 months. For the last year it had been a little lacking on the friendly faces and employee dress code appearance side. But I think they got some new management, because I saw a new smiling faced brunette young lady ( who I think must be a new manager) on my last visit. She even came to the window and made conversation. Customer service like that means allot to me and carries a long way..
