Pho Nomenal — Restaurant in Lumberton

Terrible service.

Ordered through 3rd party delivery and spent $60 for 2 people for lunch. First of all the restaurant had our order for over 45 min before they even started it. It was delivered quickly once it was actually started and the driver followed instructions. When we opened the bag there was no broth for my Pho. I called the restaurant and what sounded to be a young man answered. I told him what had happened and he said I had to contact the delivery person to get some broth. I pointed out that it wasn't the driver who left it out of the order, it was the restaurant. He said they don't deliver (mind you we are a 4 min walk away) so he can't bring it. I then asked about a refund on the pho and he said he didn't know how to do that. I asked if someone there did and he said it was just him and the cook. Long story short the flavor of what I did get was good so I assume it would have been even better with the broth but I guess we will never know because I'll never...

We’ve been to this restaurant several times now in the hopes that service has improved. Unfortunately, we’ve always had terrible experiences every time we’ve come. It seems like they never have enough servers to serve their customers. We’ve always had to wait a long time to get our food. We waited almost an hour once to get our food and we were the only customers in the restaurant. This last time we went they were a little busy for dinner time, and they still only had one server. No one was at the front of the restaurant when we came in so we sat ourselves. We sat for 15 minutes with no service and two different families came after us. We went when they were not at all busy around 5pm, yet with 4 wait staff, it was still the worst service we've had in a long while. Our waited never refilled our drinks, he brought us the shrimp eggrolls when we ordered pork, he never corrected them or took them off the bill. Got our Bao we ordered first after we got our meals. Both our meals were cold and bland. That side sauce is water. Bean sprouts were dirty. It really was an unpleasant first impression. My husband and I were so disappointed, were huge fans of Phos four seasons! Won't be back until there's better trained wait staff.
