My husband and I just had our wedding this past weekend with Charley's as our caterer, and can I just say that I have nothing but the highest praise for Charley's Catering service?! They made the process of choosing them for our catering needs so easy and were absolutely amazing at the event as well. During the initial selection process, we came in to meet with Lisa and she answered any questions we may have had. After we officially chose them as our caterers, we were prompted to choose several entrees to try as well as several sides for them to have ready for us when we came in to try food at the next meeting. Even while we were there, they still offered to put together a different side if we so chose. We ended up deciding on the Teriyaki Chicken w Pineapple, the Sirloin Beef tips in Mushroom Gravy, the Roasted Root Vegetables, the Loaded Mashed potatoes, and for our 3rd side they offered to host our cocktail hour with a cheese/cracker and fruit platter as well as beverages(which was such a huge relief!). They had an option for our vegetarian friends available at no extra cost as well. I have heard nothing but the best from our guests and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals ourselves. They brought the two of us our meals so we did not have to wait in line at all for the serving of the buffet option we ordered. They were very flexible with helping us make our evening as amazing as possible. Kendrick was absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout the entire evening. At the end of the night, they wrapped up all of our food and brought it back to the restaurant so we could pick it up from them on Sunday. We arrived at the restaurant, had us pull around back and delivered all of our food to our car, super duper easy and stress free!We would highly recommend their catering services for any catering needs...
Read moreI would like to give this zero stars but that's not an option; one is the lowest possible.
I do not understand the good reviews of this place. The food is straight out of an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares; everything is frozen and just reheated then served with no presentation whatsoever. The chicken fingers were perfect square cut processed, the meat was hard, the breading was soggy and separated from the chicken, indicating it had been a prepackaged frozen variety not unlike you would buy in bulk. The burger, requested Medium, was delivered Well Done to the point of the exterior being charred. The $7 margarita was delivered in a six ounce glass. (La Caretta has spoiled me; HUGE.) The above two basic food items ordered were very slow coming from the kitchen, upwards of 30 minutes, and even the drinks were over 10 minutes despite the place not being busy. The coleslaw side requested with the burger was not edible; all vinegar, no dressing. Additionally, I feel any restaurant with prices as this (no entree under $10), service should be done with serving trays, not carrying plates by hand throughout. Very Tacky. A small detail can make a big difference. All this terrible food and minuscule drink for $50. I will not return, and you should not go. Spend that $50 elsewhere. I always try to find something good about a place so here it is: the restroom was clean. Lastly, the previous reviewer was correct regarding our visit as well; with both of us in our early 50's we were the youngest patrons. For all this and probably more, Two Thumbs Way...
Read moreOne of my favorite things that I used to always get was the chicken quesadilla and I've been so disappointed so many times now that I'm just not ordering it anymore. Evidently for a while now they've been cooking it differently from the way they used to because pretty much every time it's served to me it's lukewarm at best and that did not used to be the case. I ate in there this afternoon and it was barely warm at all. I was hungry so I just went ahead and ate it and I know in the past when I've stated that it wasn't really very hot they didn't have good solutions for fixing it. I had never seen that particular waiter before maybe he was new and he was friendly enough but he didn't really come back to check on me until I was basically finished eating anyway. I didn't understand why it looked like his shirt was wet. I thought either he somehow got caught out in the rain or he was doing the dishes in back. One thing that stood out was how dirty the floor was that bothered me and I think at this point they just need to replace the flooring. So for years I have come here and enjoyed the food but I just don't feel like there's a lot of effort being made now and that's one person's opinion. I only ate about half my food and I spent almost $30 and it just wasn't very enjoyable and it just wasn't worth the money to me. There are other things on the menu that I order from time to time but I used to really enjoy the chicken quesadilla and it's not good anymore and that is the main thing that I always...
