MayLynn's Creamery Boonsboro — Restaurant in Lynchburg

First of all, please let me apologize for the pics of the half-eaten Cookiewich. I am usually so good about taking the pre-eating pic for my review, but I sort of got...overly excited to dive in. Let me explain. We were eating dinner with the family at Mi Patron (across the parking lot) and my wife showed me a video of this Cookiewich thing at the food truck in the same parking lot. It being made, it being eaten, etc. I had to do it. I did. It was SOOOOO worth it, and was literally a Magical Ice Cream Experience. I just made up that term, but it works. I LOVED it, and almost stopped here again during my quick three-day trip to Lynchburg. I still regret NOT stopping by again, and sometimes have dreams about it while back in Colorado. But, that is neither here nor there. Anyway, you need to get yourself one of these awesomeness-in-an-ice-cream-treat things. In addition to the actual ice cream being awesome, they have the ring game (so you can entertain yourself while stuffing your face like I did), AND the value of what you pay and what you get is...sort of absurd in this day and age. It was $4.75, I believe and that is insane. Go and get it before they raise the price. I would have paid like $12 for that thing. I highly recommend making the dessert stop at this place when in the area, and see you there (no, seriously, the next time I am in Lynchburg, I am beelining...

Anyone with the Attractions book coupon it's not stated on the coupon or at the location, but the buy 1 cone/cup & get 1 free is ONLY FOR SOFT-SERVE. We ordered 2 medium cones hand-dipped (regular ice cream), and gave the coupon to the cashier. She rang up the order and told us there was no charge. We said that we should be charged for 1 cone. She asked the manager? for help redoing the total. The manager looked at the coupon and politely told us it was only good on soft-serve because when the book was done MayLynn's only offered soft-serve. Since there was a line behind us I paid for both cones, however I feel that the coupon should have been honored because we were buying a cone. Plus we were honest about paying for 1 cone as per the terms of the coupon (not that we considered doing otherwise.) The ice cream was good, but I don't think...
