It’s a nice and clean looking dining area with friendly staff. Regarding the sushi we shared 3 rolls. Bellingham roll, baked salmon roll, and caterpillar roll. The presentation of the rolls were very nice but they lack flavor especially the salmon because it’s farmed. And I did not like way too much spicy mayo sauce drizzled over over the rolls. And I felt the rolls were over priced because in Vancouver or Surrey we get much tastier sushi for about half the price. See my other reviews for the five-star sushi restaurants in the lower mainland.

Rainbow roll...where to begin. 😦Desecrated with some runny mayo based sauce perhaps to hide the lack of fish. The "thin shavings" of fish typically on top of this roll is almost nonexistent . All I tasted is RICE and a hint of cucumber...for $15! Even Haggen's is better than this. I will chalk it up to location and attempting to americanize the sushi as much as possible. A weak weak roll. A positive, they were fast and the young gentleman friendly. The lack of fish on this though is truly disappointing.

Had decent sushi and food for being in Lynden and the prices are decent as well. The reason it gets 2 stars is because the owners straight up lied to me. I walked in at 8:25 no one greeted me or helped me. I grabbed a menu and asked for a simple meal to go. They said sorry we close at 8:30... I walked outside and read there signs. Closing time 9... super disappointed and will never be going back here again.

My first visit really blew me away! I've eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants and Nami really made a stellar first impression.

Their teriyaki is delicious, with the best teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted. However, getting it spicy actively detracts from that quality. It's still good but definitely not worth the $2 upcharge!

The sushi is good, we tried the avocado roll and it's very good, as well as generously portioned. The same can be said of the dinner bentos, also very generously sized.

Beer of the Japanese variety, as well as sake and I believe wine, are available to drink alongside sodas and the like. Sapporo, as always, goes great with teriyaki.

Overall I give the place a score between 8.5-9, depending on your own preference, weighted toward a 9/10. Very good, will...

Moved to Lynden a couple of months ago and have been here a few times and I think tonight was my last visit. The fish quality is average at best and had to send the hamachi back. The owner told me it was fresh, it was not. We are back today and ordered the seaweed salad that was a tiny bit of seaweed salad on top of a whole bunch of radish and that was $9 a total rip off. The owner comes over to the table after giving us the menus and tells us everything on the menu is $1 more. Don't be lazy print a new menu for your folks so they know what the real prices are. Nice mom and pop couple here but just not a great option for sushi when there's so many better options in Vancouver or Bellingham. I do not think we'll...

I will not be returning to this restaurant. I don't write reviews, but I have to with this one. 1.) One of our orders was "dropped" behind something which cause a delay, in which we had to inquire why the order wasn't up and then they told us why (20mins.) When our other orders came, they asked then if we still wanted the order that was "dropped" and than we had to wait another 20mins... 2.) I had to asked the waiter numinous times to get our ginger and wasabi. 3.) my CCard was charged incorrectly for no reason what so ever. 4.) I even placed an order to go for my wife and I didn't get part of the meal. So, no i will not be going back. Just watch your CCard statement if your CCard gets charged...
