Burger King — Restaurant in Lyndhurst

This is by far my favorite Burger King location even though it’s not the closest to my home. I always liked to eat at the Jodie Foster booth at this location. It was window-adjacent with ample natural lighting for a lunchtime meal, and the photographs of Jodie Foster hanging at this particularly booth always made me grateful. The restaurant itself did not have great service compared to other Burger King locations and the early renovations caused some supply issues (no mozzarella sticks, no chicken fries, etc) but the Jodie Foster booth always made up for what lacked elsewhere. I would frequently meet with my friends, coworkers, family, lovers, and sometimes my attorney at that booth and always had success. Now that the Jodie Foster booth has been removed in the renovations, I pray that the newly designed restaurant will provide a good space for successful meetings. Went there for a Birthday Party this past Saturday and it seems to be the only local one with a big playspace, Playland, or perhaps the only one with a playspace in the area, big or little! Well, it had some unique things going on, such as a sitting booth shaped in a vintage car, jukebox and photos of classic movie stars. The Playspace was large and Party Room was a good size. The setup of the party room was not ideal, but there was an area for a performer and, in this case, there was a Magician, or for a small dance floor if you wanted. There was a game room on site, but we did not utilize that. Large Burger King, on site parking lot next to it and a drive thru. At the party, they took the adult orders first, which was strange, because the children were so hungry by the time the children's orders were taken. The individual servicing the party tried to be attentive, but it was difficult for her as mostly one person. The food was your typical Burger King fare. Walked in at 10am and greeted the woman at the register (Spanish with blonde hair and tattoos) with a good morning and she turned her back and walked away from the register. I disregarded the rude gesture and decided to order my food, while ordering she had a nasty attitude as if I was being rude or something. She didn’t even give me a receipt when I paid. When I sat down to eat I noticed my hash browns were missing, when I went back to ask for them she told me I didn’t order any. I told her she was mistaken and instead of apologizing for the mistake she decided to argue about what I said. I asked for my receipt (that I should’ve had gotten after I paid) and she didn’t charge me for the hash browns. I let her know next time she shouldn’t have such an attitude so she won’t be distracted and get the order wrong. She turned her back and walked away again saying something in Spanish.
