This review is strictly for the food experience I had during takeout!!

This is not a review on the bartender, the drinks, or entertainment.. WHICH IS VERY GOOD!!

Just a food TAKE OUT review.

So I feel so jipped!! Or ripped off. I said to my wife let's try the brickyard for food for once. Cuz we always go to smaller places like super seven subs, rolly's tavern, Nick's Place You know those type of places!!

So I just wanted something like a kabob salad with fetta and onions, She wanted a steak dinner with rice. So she got two orders because she wanted a lot of steak!! .. FYI there was no menu we could find to order ahead of time. It was a phone call. WE DID NOT KNOW THE PRICES IF WE DID WE WOULD NOT HAVE WENT THERE!!

So she got 2 steak tip dinners medium rare, and a steak tip salad You can see the pictures. When I picked them up THE BILL CAME TO It was almost $90 ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!! So we're talking about $27 a piece for two steak tip dinners, steak tip salad LARGE WHICH IS REGULAR EVERYWHERE ELSE, so each one was about $27 a piece!! Each one should only be about 12 to $15 max a piece seriously!! So I didn't freak out. Never seen food cost that much. I said let's see what they give you for that money maybe it's a ton of food? Brought the food home opened it up saying to myself again there better be a lot of food in here!

As you can see from the pictures THESE WERE ALMOST $27 A PIECE! SO SMALL IT'S RIDICULOUS!! EMBARRASSING TO BE CHARGING THIS MUCH MONEY FOR TAKE OUT FOOD FOR SOMETHING SO SMALL! For the food they offered if you look at the competition. THE STEAK DINNER THIS SHOULD COST NO MORE THAN $12 SERIOUSLY!! Maybe if both of those steak dinners were together. The steak tip salad maybe 15 max!!

So how did it taste? It's good but nothing better than anywhere else we've been to. I will be going there to see bands, get good drinks with great bartenders ,great people, and company. I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY FOOD..

Beside myself how much they wanted for this take out food!! Wow!!

FYI they don't have rice, they don't have feta, And we ordered one of them with the side of onion rings one of them with the side of fries. THEY GAVE BOTH ONION RINGS!!

So sorry not trying to bash them but this is just unacceptable for...

Didn't even get to try it out , sat down, had to find our own menus. After 15 minutes sitting at the bar the lady asked us "here or to go " then disappeared, helped someone else then said be right with you then again disappeared. Finally comes over and asked if we want anything then as we were gonna tell her she grabs a frigen keno ticket from someone who just walked up helped him then after 20 plus minutes waiting she finally was going to take our order ( I think ) but at that point we had enough and told her were going somewhere else. There were only 7 to 10 people there so not sure what took so long and no excuse for being ignorant and not even giving us the time of day. Money taken away from your business and into...

I used to go here before my kids were born for steak tips & fries & my son is now 21 years old! They're obviously doing something right! I just thought I would put a little history in this post too! Talk about the cost of living increases! Back then the meal would cost $8.00 & now it's $15 for a sub & fries!! The tips are well worth it!! The service was good. She was up our butt checking in every 3 minutes! It was just enough for us to enjoy our food & have conversation without constantly being interrupted. The place hasn't changed at all except there's no more pool table.☹️ I would highly recommend trying this place out!
