Giovanni's Pizza & Roast Beef — Restaurant in Lynn

I also regularly ordered from Giovanni's for several years, and last November had a very bad case of food poisoning directly related to their Caesar Salad. A couple of weeks later I phoned - just to let them know as a courtesy- and the guy on the other end didn't even apologize and was rather rude. So today - almost a year later - in preparation for having some friends over for the Pats game, for some reason I decide to call them again to give them another try, and order an Eggplant Parm Calzone (which I had ordered in the past). The girl who took my order was quite lovely, and I told her my experience from last year and she was quite apologetic which made a difference. However, the owner then called me right back to say he could not, in fact, make an Eggplant Parm Calzone - no reason - So there you go! Ended up ordering from the ever reliable and delicious Alfredo's in Lynn. Lesson learned. Better off ordering from Shoreline Grill & Pizza in Lynn, Alfredo's, or Enzo's! All delicious with great service! The only reason I tried Giovanni's again was that Shoreline and Enzo's both closed today, yet certainly won't call again, and my friends will enjoy a delicious calzone...

Horrible place . They use to be my favorite until today actually. I usually get an everything pizza from them but this time I had ordered a half everything pizza and half veggie. So you know everything is supposed to be on it except one side doesn't have meat . Well I waited an hour and when it finally came , I tipped the delivery guy then ran to go open it . They sent me half a veggie pizza and half sausage pizza. I called and complained and told them I wanted a new pizza plus my pizza was cold. Nope the guy told me too bad that was all I was getting and hang up the phone on me . When I called back and asked to speak to the manager , it was actually the store owner and he told me I can eat it or throw it away but they were not sending me a new pizza . Reminding you I am a regular customer , I usually order from them once or twice a week . Horrible and rude service. Do Not I repeat , DO NOT EAT HERE . We ordered 2 nights in a row and the first night the sub we ordered wasn't even marinated like suppose to be. When we called back the person who answered the phone was dead rude and offered to send a side of bbq sauce wich isn't even what is marinated in. Then tonight I ordered a chicken wing dinner and a side of chicken wings. When it got here it was chicken fingers and the person who answered last night answered again tonight and said the girl said she repeated it back 4 times. Really 4 times and was in the back saying hes a lyer hes a lyer. . I was given nothing but attitude. Then they actually brought the other meal back to the store.
