Food is always delicious and very well cooked the owners are super nice elderly couple and the son is also very nice. Nothing negative for me to say I think the only thing here the past year or so is will they retire soon the wife tools tired and a lot the husband looks tired as well the vide to me is they need to retire and enjoy the rest of there life maybe the can't retire because old financial but maybe sell the restaurant and I would hope the next owner would keep the same recipe I am don't know anything about them but u wonder why the son can't take over for them . they also lately have been running out of certain items not sure if they are not cooking enough because first time I tough maybe I came at five and its end of day but I also went during lunch time and that was too early to be running out of food it would also be great if the phone was answered because when I call no one ever answers and now that I know they run out of food be great to be able to call and check ahead of time instead of getting there and be told no. The Lady helping them seems frustrated all the time and its probably because of the owner not listening or forgetting and making small mistakes and its understanding because of her age this Lady is just tired and I feel bad I would like to see her retire and enjoy herself in her island or here where ever her and husband want to relax but just go enjoy. Wish them the best tough and while they are open go try what they do...
Read moreJamaicaâs Flavor is one of those hidden gemsâa true hole-in-the-wall spot in Lynn thatâs all about authentic flavor over flash. Thereâs nothing fancy hereâno music, no alcohol, a small menu, and simple dĂ©corâbut what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for with incredible food and warm hospitality.
The parking is decent, and while the menu isnât extensive, everything on it is rich in Jamaican flavor. The seasoning is spot-on, and the dishes are clearly made by people who know what real island cooking is all about.
What really stands out is the staffâsweet, humble, and genuinely kind. These ladies treat you like family, and that alone makes the experience special. The prices are solid, the portions are fair, and the food is consistently delicious.
I wouldnât give it five stars in the traditional sense, just because it doesnât offer the full dining âexperienceâ with bells and whistlesâbut if youâre looking for simple, real-deal Jamaican food, this place is absolutely worth it. Iâve been there three times already, and Iâll be back every time Iâm in Lynn. Totally...
Read moreFood is good. However, the Jamaican warm, welcoming, community embracing was none existent. Almost felt as if asking a question was forbidden. Geez, folks life's much too short to live in such a way. Jah love and Amen to that, because I've never seen a bunch of full of idk what even to call it But wow! Really blew me away. Grateful to God for leaving the NY Rican in me, back in New York... Cause Lord knows.... Not sure if the food was worth a repeat visit? For certain not worth the ill treatment during patronage. Hence why, local mom and pop shops "restaurants" don't make the $$$ they could. Sad.
Sincerely, NY Rican (Be nice Lynn? I've been paying taxes in this town for over a decade, in MA...
