I wish I could give double the number of stars! ⭐️ My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant last night for our anniversary dinner. He had been here several years ago and said that this was where he had the best dry aged steak he’d ever had, I have never been here before. Our experience last night was nothing short of exceeding our expectations. We arrived separately and both were pleasantly greeted by the young man at the door, we sat at the bar with Katelyne as our bartender. She made me a delicious Manhattan cocktail, he doesn’t drink so he ordered a Diet Coke, she was so wonderful and nice. Impressively, she verbally provided the night’s off menu specials, two of which we ordered. We ordered the sausage appetizer special which was served on a board with fresh mustard sautéed peppers and onions and crispy crostini and it was incredible, my boyfriend ordered the veal special which was also served on a board with fresh green beans and garlic mashed, I ordered the chicken “margherita” with the house made pasta, Katelyne made a wonderful suggestion of wine to pair with dinner. When she checked in asking how our meals were we responded with our honest opinions. I immediately said everything was delicious, however my boyfriend had a different opinion and although he did say his veal was good he said that he expected a bit more kick of flavor and reassured that neither of us were unhappy. (Though my opinion on this dish was opposite, I could smell the fresh rosemary a mile away and it made me think of the holidays and I thought it tasted great) She responded that she would send her manager by but we said that certainly wasn’t necessary. Regardless, the manager checked in with us, which she had already stopped by welcoming us to the restaurant not long before our meals came out, she was apologetic and we again said no need to apologize nothing was wrong we just like to give honest feedback when asked. Brianna, the manager was very kind and said that either way she’d like to send a dessert to us to make up for it. There was nothing to make up for in our perspective and said that’s certainly not necessary but thank you. Surprisingly, she came back a few minutes later with a new veal dish prepared differently for him to try, this was an incredible gesture and far too kind. To top all of this off we ordered the tiramisu for dessert (saying we didn’t want them to comp it) and it came out with a little chocolate board that said happy anniversary ♥️ - they did not charge us for the dessert but again certainly did not have to do that. The gentleman that cleared our places throughout our visit was also very nice and courteous. To say our visit was lovely is a far understatement! This was a great evening in so many ways, the restaurant, Brianna and Katelyne especially, went above and beyond to make sure we were as happy as possible. The service was top notch and attention to guest satisfaction was amazing. This level of service and restaurant experience is hard to come by nowadays and it was so awesome to experience. We will one million % be returning and telling everyone about our experience here. Kudos to you all! Wish I took pictures of all the dishes because they were stunningly presented! The ambiance and vibe here were...
Read moreI recently had dinner at Rossetti’s in Lynn and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had, especially after ordering the most expensive dish on the menu, the Prime Sirloin Mafioso Style.
To start, our waitress didn’t share the nightly specials until we specifically asked. when my entrée arrived, it was just a plain piece of steak with asparagus, none of the Mafioso-style ingredients like sauce, mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella, or prosciutto were included.
When I asked about it, the waitress simply responded, “Do you just want the sauce added to that?” Ten minutes later, she returned with two separate bowls, one of sauce and one of spaghetti , leaving me to assemble my own meal at the table (still missing ingredients - mozzarella&prosciutto) . On top of that, I had ordered my steak medium well, but it was so overcooked and tough that I had to really force my knife just to cut into it. Definitely not the quality I expected at this price point.
The person dining with me also had issues with their order. They had asked to substitute fries for broccolini with their burger, but the meal arrived with only the burger. When we asked, the waitress said, “It should’ve come with your burger,” yet there was nothing on the plate. We waited another 5–10 minutes before the broccolini finally arrived.
Between the missing ingredients, overcooked steak, long wait and overall lack of attention to detail, this was a very disappointing experience from a restaurant I had higher expectations for. I was still charged full price despite everything, and based on this visit, I’m most likely...
Read moreWe were staying just outside of Boston and felt like some Italian food. Someone suggested that we check out Rosetti, even though it was a 30-minute drive from our Hotel. Wow, I’m glad we did!
I knew this was worth the drive as soon as we stepped in - the aroma coming from the open concept kitchen was mouthwatering. The chef (I believe his name was Bobby) came out to greet us as he heard we were visiting from Toronto. He brought some fresh bread and welcomed us for the first time.
Everything I saw being served to the customers looked fresh and very appetizing. What were we going to order? Thanks to our friendly server Deidra, she was able to provide some knowledgeable incite on the dishes we were interested in.
We started out with a couple of cocktails, I forget the name of mine, but it was delicious. It had some sort of round dessert on the rim, I’ve never tasted anything that unique. My wife had a Pear Martini which actually tasted like a pear. Very cool!
Our starter was the gnocchi which blew us away. We’ve never had something that soft before, I have no clue how they make them, but wish I could the same. I followed up with the Steak Mafioso which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The cut of meat was HUGE, I ended up taking some home. My wife ordered the Veal Parmigiana and she loved every bit of it! Just an incredible meal and wished we had room for dessert.
Between the food, drinks, attentive service and décor, 5 stars doesn’t justify our experience, I’d give 10 stars if I could.
Excellent job Rosetti, we...
