Visited Los Pinos (the one on Central Ave., Lynn) as part of my quest for the best taco in greater Lynn area. This one was indeed quite tasty! I ordered the pollo version and decided that I'll go with pollo everywhere in order to keep things fair and even across the board. There is a steam table when you come in and alot of folks just point to what they want rather than order from menu. Another time I may try that myself. They do have quite a few choices. My taco came with a substantial amount of chicken / filling. It was seasoned nicely even if a bit mild. At the point she was making it for me, a very large group of people came in and it was chaotic for about 2 minutes or so, and I never got to personalize what I wanted. I could see her looking around for me, but I was unable to get past this group of ten people trying to figure out what they wanted. No matter- she ended up just going with the basics, which was likely what I would have done and it's nice to see what they do as their "basic" anyway. A good sprinkling of pico de gallo (diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro) and some sliced radishes. No queso at all. Guess one has to ask for that(??). Also a little bit of the green hot sauce (tasted like Cholula). Was VERY tasty and will definitely be back to try other things in the future. If anyone has a great taco recommendation- please just...
Read moreSo I’m new to this area, moved into Lynn around 8 months ago. This is my second visit here, and love it as much as my first. I’ve ordered one of each taco from their menu, and the quality was fantastic. It was quickly served and tasted freshly made. I’ve tried tacos in different places and honestly these are great! Better than most that’s I’ve tried. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu but this is definitely my reason for coming back. The prices are decent, I don’t think they’re overpriced. I don’t think they’re underpriced. I’ve heard folks recommend other cheaper local options in this area. I’ve tried them and you get a ton of food but everything is so oily and greasy. Not my cup of tea. I rather pay a bit more for better grade quality food. The ambiance here is great, really chill and not loud (some restaurants always have crazy loud music playing in the background makes it hard to have conversations). It’s clear and the service here has been great! I’ve been recommending this spot to friends. Oh, also there’s an awesome bubble tea right next door!!! :)...
Read moreI always come here and I order the same thing. I ask a plate for 1 person. I say “light white rice, 1 piece of chicken, 1 boiled egg, and pico de gallo”. I would be charged $7. I came this time and ordered the same exact thing and I got an horchata. I was charged $16. I might as well go to another place that has more food with the same price. I don’t think I’ll be...
