We ordered a takeout Valentine's Day dinner made by Chef Misha. Walking in to pick up our food, we really were feeling like we were missing out on something special -- the Phinix Lounge was beautifully decorated with colored rose petals covering the tables, and everything looked perfect. Chef Misha prepared us a beautiful 3-course plus meal: a crudite plate (olives, pepperoncini, red peppers, cucumber and a spicy carrot salad), as well as fresh made pita bread, hummus and baba ganoush, to start things off. The pita was as fresh as it could be, and the hummus and baba ganoush were perfect -- the hummus was loaded with garlic with just the perfect amount of lemon, and the baba ganoush had a perfectly roasted taste. The spicy carrot salad had a strong zing to it but was not over the top. Then we dug into the main course: baked salmon and chicken kebabs, with garlic roasted potato, Moroccan rice, served with tkemali and tsatsebelli sauces (I had to look both of these up from his menu, as the flavors were something I could not pinpoint but fund absolutely delicious -- tkemali is a pickled Georgian plum sauce that everyone needs to try, tsatsebelli is a Georgian sauce made of tomato paste, cilantro, garlic, vinegar, pepper, khmeli suneli (a traditional Georgian spicy herbs mixture), water and adjika chili paste. Both of these sauces were obviously made with TLC and really added to the food. Both the chicken and the salmon were cooked perfectly. For dessert, he created what he called a fruit cup, but this was no simple cup of fruit: I am doing my best to describe it, but it was more like a freshly made cup of raspberry preserves with a strawberry. I know there was much more to this flavor but I cannot pinpoint it other than to say it was amazing. This was not my first time eating Chef Misha's cooking, as I have attended several of his cooking classes. A couple of my favorite things: (1) you know every ingredient is always fresh and from scratch. (2) he is big on making food flavorful but never counts on salt or sugar to accomplish that. Having has some health issues in the past and not being quite as thin as I was in the past, I find it comforting to know I can trust Misha's cooking to be both fresh and wholesome. Right now, I am not too eager to go to restaurants and I am enjoying ordering out, but I am dying for the day where I can get the full Chef Misha experience at the Phinix Lounge in Lynn! My biggest regret - we were too eager to start eating, and by the time we realized we hadn't taken a picture, the main course was long gone. We still had the rice, potatoes and some of the crudite (we also gobbled up the hummus and baba ganoush right away!) and managed to get a photo of that.

Give them a try you won't be disappointed: Simple food, simply cooked, simply divine!! We had the chicken kabob on saffron rice with roasted veggies, and the rosemary lamb chops with roasted veggies and tart plum sauce. Finished with coffees and baklava! Go! They also offer catering, and have a function room!

Homemade, delicious and fresh food, authentically made signature dishes. The food is heart warming. The chef will bring the food right out to your table. Great, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for any kind of events or take outs.

Chef Misha did the catering for our 240 person wedding this July. He was very responsive and returned all my messages and calls in a timely manner whenever we had questions or concerns about organizing the catering. We also really appreciated the fact that he was considerate and understanding of our budget limitations and helped us to create a menu that looked great but was also affordable for us. The food was delicious and our guests liked it a lot. We did a buffet style dinner and all the staff running it were friendly and helpful. Misha also took care of tableware, silverware, non-alcoholic drinks, and cake-cutting and that was really helpful because it meant that we had fewer things to organize and source from different places. We would highly recommend his catering services for any kind of event (this was actually the second wedding in our family that was...

We are Autism Unity, a nonprofit organization, want to extend our deepest gratitude to Chef Misha for hosting an incredible cooking class tailored specifically for our amazing kids with autism. Your patience, creativity, and passion made the experience not only educational but truly enjoyable for everyone involved.

Seeing our children light up as they learned new skills and discovered the joy of cooking was priceless. Your understanding and dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive environment mean the world to us. You've not only taught them how to cook but also helped them gain confidence and independence.

Thank you for making such a positive impact on our community and for giving our kids an experience they will cherish for...
