Tierra Mia Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in Lynwood

UPDATE: I've been avoiding Starbucks and coffee bean since this teirra Mia in Lynwood opened. I've always loved just about all their drinks, from their old Stand bys to their new and seasonal offerings. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, this particular tierra Mia just isn't what it used to be. About a year ago, I started noticing a lack of flavor in their drinks, specifically the blended and iced drinks. My go to has always been their blended drinks, usually the mocha mexicano, horchata and mazapán. When I started suspecting that there was too much ice in my blended drink, I dismissed it as my imagination or that I was just getting too used to the flavors because I have them 4 or 5 times a week. I've been to several other tierra mias but not recently so the other day when I stopped by the Tierra mia in Anaheim, it became clear that yes, the Drinks at the Lynnwood location are very lacking in flavor AND quality with big chunks of ice in what should be a smooth flavorful blended coffee. My Horchata frappe from Anaheim tierra mia was smooth, creamy and so tasty. I had forgotten what it was supposed to taste like. Since then I've had the Mazapan frappe, the chocolate mexicano, rice and beans, the horchata Macha latte in both iced and blended from BOTH locations and at the one in La Puente and there's no comparison. The Lynnwood location is just not as good anymore. I hope this changes soon. Get better staff or whatever

Staff is friendly, place is clean and menu has both traditional coffee products as well as latino inspired favorite flavors both coffee based and non coffee based. Horchata frap/latte, chocolate mexicano frap/latte like traditional chocolate caliente with or without coffee, rice and beans frap/latte (horchata flavor with ground coffee beans in it), fresas con crema smoothie and new masapan flavored coffee based drinks are offered as well as mocha, caramel etc. Their baked goods are always fresh and can be served warmed for that extra fresh taste. I recommend the tres leches muffin or piña colada Danish. 9 times out of 10 I'd rather travel a bit further to a tierra Mia instead of going to my nearest Starbucks or Coffee Bean but I don't need to because I have a Tierra Mia right around the corner. One tiny issue is because it's so good, almost all their locations are super busy just about all day long, every day. We need more locations...

Drive through was taking longer than usual. An employee came out and was taking orders car to car to get ahead in orders, I was impressed on how fast she was. Just to find out she was fast but in a bad way. My order was very easy. A large horchata frapp, and a small horchata frapp. The girl who took our order hurried as if she was rushing. That’s where she got the order wrong. Getting to the window we paid. When they give us the large, I notice it had dark stripes of drizzle. And the color of the frapp is dark. Then we get the small horchata frapp. We told the lady at the window that we ordered a large horchata frapp, not whatever she gave us. She seemed so unbothered, just wanting us to leave. She says “you put this” as in we chose to get the chocolate frapp she gave us. I said no, we ordered the horchata frapp. She proceeds to say again “no you put”, in a very stubborn way. I was bothered on another level. Customer service would take the incorrect item back, and make the new one according to customer. And I know because I work with food. I was just like whatever, I’ll take it. Don’t remember names. But the one taking orders outside had ginger curly hair I believe, if not a very light brown acorn color. The one at the window had glasses. I was really craving that...

Worst customer service ever!! I got 2 muffins and 2 drinks . When muffins were given to me i asked why were they not on plates they told me i had to pay extra to have them plated. Then my drinks were served in paper cups i asked for them in mugs they ended up telling me that i had to pay for them to put it in a mug Nd for the heart design they do . I laughed because they me told the prices they have on the board r not acual prices i had to lay addition if i wanted to get my stuff in playes turns put i paid almost 30$ for 2 drinks and 2 muffins i found that very odd . The person who helped me was extremly rude when i asked to please explain why my drinks were 10$ each If 1 was a latte and the othere a strawberry limonaid not even the large size! They were both med. They were being loud and i ended up leaving iwas so mad how rude . They have no edict on how to treat customers. I was dissappinted never again will i got to this loaction!!!!!
