The staff seems to have no idea how to work their own systems and have no customer service skills. Add to that the food was not ready for an hour and then prepared incorrectly, it was simply a terrible experience.
I placed an online order through their website and arrived a half hour later as directed. I gave the bartender my name for the order who looked at a screen and then looked back at me blankly. He asked if it was Grubhub or DoorDash. I stated it was through his website and showed my email confirmation. "Oh" he said, stared at the same computer screen, then asked to see the email again before walking to the kitchen. He returned to tell me it was being packed up. So I sat... And sat... And sat for 15 minutes until I asked a waitress if she could check the order for me. Mind you, I was sitting at the bar, 5 feet from the bartender, who never acknowledged me again until I left. The waitress said they were still cooking it and it would be 10 more minutes. So, the bartender lied to me because he didn't want to admit they forgot to start cooking my online order. About 10 minutes later someone walked out of the kitchen to ask if I was waiting for burgers and said they'd be right out. He brought them and my French onion soup a few minutes later. It wasn't until I was leaving the bartender said "sorry about that." There was no offer to compensate for forgetting my order, lying to me, and keeping me waiting. Not even an offer for a glass of water for the half hour I sat there. Had I not paid via their website I would have walked out long ago.
Upon getting home, the soup was cold and had a slice of cheese laying on top. That was their idea of French onion. I had to microwave it to warm it enough to melt the cheese. The burger, which was a jalepeno, bacon, and cheddar burger, was specifically ordered with no onions - see attached photo of receipt. It came with raw and grilled onions - and there was no bacon - see the other photo. That just adds insult to injury.
Maybe it's better if you order at a table. Who knows; I won't be going back to find out. They get 2 stars because the waitress was honest and checked on my food, otherwise it would be a 1 star review. Terrible experience from...

Greeted by very nice personable gal as our waitress. I give stars for facility & HER service, friendliness and attentiveness. The name BAR-drinks and GRILL-food as I pass new venue had my interest. So I started with a cocktail from menu and as I watched person behind bar - small figured long blonde hair someone said the manager - pour my drink in tall glass it was barely a pour for $8 tasted only soda water. So switched to beer. I ordered sauteed mushrooms ehh clearly they were from a can. BIG texture difference from real mushrooms to canned. Shift changed closed tab with friendly waitress then got a not-so-friendly waitress. Eh, stayed for happy hour ordered a cocktail..again weak sooo weak barely taste. Hmm what if drink is neat instead mixed. I asked for neat Titos (happy hour special). So if you go there order neat, the bartender grandaughter of owner (I heard) is serving an $8 soda water. Ok next ..ordered pizza eh okay bar food but waitress seemed bothered we asked for cheese and crushed pepper shakers. My recommendation... hire real bartender behind bar to make DECENT drinks, have afternoon waitress clean up not look like she just rolled out of bed with messy high pony tail and no facially groom. Read moreMy sister booked a my niece's Sweet 16 Birthday Party at Branding Iron. The party was booked many weeks ahead of time. My sister went to the restaurant to set up for the party around 4pm. Mind you the birthday girl was to arrive to the venue at 5pm. The place was filled with smoke, there were dirty plates, left over food on the tables, the floor looked like it had not been swept all day. Needless to say, Branding Iron management had forgotten about my niece's party. My sister The staff did not know there was a party of almost 50 coming in an hour. My sister quickly sprang into action. She wiped down the table, clean the floors, and tried to get the food going. There was not enough food to feed the guests. There was not enough rice or tortillas for the meal, and not enough silverware. My sister called the management. They new they dropped the ball, but still, they did not bother to come out and rectify the situation. At 8:30pm, half an hour before the party was to end, here comes a person to collect the payment. The party was almost not happening, say you can't come out to help when things were in chaos, but you show to up to collect the money?????? I have never been in an establishment where they forgot you booked a party and did not come to help figure out what is happening.
