Extremely disappointing experience. Firstly, we were served our meals piecemeal. Each meal came out as it was made over a 10/15 minute period rather than all at once as every other restaurant I have ate at. As a family, we wait until everyone is served before we eat. Because I didn't want the food to get cold for others, I had people eat as their food came. I was served third, and the wrong food at that, and had to wait for waitress to come with the last order in ordered to tell her about my food. Now secondly, as stated, I was served the wrong food. I ordered the Milanesa de Res and ended up with the Milanesa de Pollo. When I told the waitress, she informed me that the restaurant only served Pollo. When I told her that Res was offered on the menu, she only stood there saying nothing. When I again mentioned that Res was offered on the menu, she finally said that only Pollo was served. At this point, I knew if I ordered something, I would not get my food until after everyone else was done. Thirdly, the food was not the best based on my family's comments. The tacos were far smaller in size and ingredients than I've seen in other places. The enchiladas were engulfed in cheese and rather tasteless and breakfast, though it had a large portion, was not quite as advertised. The whole experience was sadly a waste of my time and money, but one I won't experience again. My visit was my first and my last with the regret I...

2nd time coming here, food was alright not sure if they switched chefs or something but it wasn’t as good as my last visit. Also customer service! I would give 1 star because first we walked in and they took at least 6min to approach us MIND YOU all the waitresses were just staring at us up and down, made me feel like We was not welcomed there, on top of that one waiter was very rude after she asked if someone already assisted us and I told her they had sent me a text saying our table was ready... ok she walked away and spoke in Spanish saying “supposably they texted them” MIND YOU AGAIN I have receipts. Also.... the waiter who attended us didn’t give us our $20 change back and literally sat down and ate. We had to ask another waiter for our change. She goes and asks the other waiter for it and As I’m watching her she is pulling it our her personal pocket!!! Like SHE tried to cuff our change! Other than that, I wish we had a better experience we drove an...

First of all, I've been coming in to this place because the food is pretty good. Ive never been here for the service but, my last visit here they wow'd me! Our food was THE best mariscos I've had ...my fiancé had ensalda mariscos and I had camarones cucaracha. The portions are nice. I also had a rusa because I can't drink and he had a really tasty michelada. Everything was on point! Our server, a male, was fantastic! We noticed male servers at this place are really good at what they do. I believe the owner was around an older well dressed Mexican guy and I mention him because I think his prescence contributed to such a wonderful experience here. I mean it's not your "fancy" spot but you're paying for a good meal and if management continues doing a great job this place is gonna need to expand soon. Mind you we travel from Itasca just to eat here. That's a little bit of a drive...I'm saying...

Taqueria Los Magueyes is a must stop for quality Mexican food near the Seat Geek Stadium in Bridge view. High quality fresh ingredients, paridallas, tacos and steak platters. We ordered Carne Asada Con Patas De Jaiba - Skirt steak with crablegs, Combinacion Suprema - Skirt steak with lobster tail stuffed with mixed seafood, white rice and vegetables. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Ask for sauce on the side with both seafood dishes as the crab legs were too hard to try and eat covered in red sauce. Micheladas are 24 oz of pure deliciousness and come with a side bottle of beer. Tostada's are really good, chorizo and steak. Chile Renellos are a real treat, pair this with Carne asada for a most delicious taco. Drinks pack a punch and are not easy on the wallet... dining in is on the higher side of $25-30 pp.

The food was very pricey for what was actually served!! Mixtos del Mar dish was nothing but a few oyster shells, a few medium shrimps with their heads attached but underneath were tiny pieces of octopus, imitation crab, tiny shrimp with lots and lots of sliced onions!!! The watery sauce reeked and tasted nothing but black pepper and cumin. The pineapple was disgusting. It was like eating a bowl of seafood and milk. Tasteless and very unpleasant. Aside from hiding the prices on their menus to then surprising their customers with a huge bill waitress was very unattentive. We had to constantly be flagging staff down to get anything. EDIT: Both dishes in the photo, 3 tacos and fries, a 1 person parillada, a torta, a mojarra dish and a can of soda for each dish came to a total $356.00!!

I asked for a mexican coffee and they where out of whipped cream I wanted it just like the picture they have on the menu. With out it it just tastes like coffee and tequila not a very good taste the whipped cream makes all the difference..the food itself it's fantastic no doubt but for the price of the service the place needs to be on point. My brother had to use the washroom and had left he's cell phone on the table..well they were out of toilet paper long story short he had to use he's own sock to wipe he's behind wich was hilarious but the point is management needs to do a better job in keeping with whipped cream for their mexican coffee and the bathroom stocked up with toilet paper to avoid customers disappointed
