For almost two years, I've had nothing but good experiences. I don't know what happened, if it was a transition into new management or workers, but nowadays every time my mom or I order, there is always something wrong and I'm sick and I need to address it.
Last time, she ordered a sprite with her food, I didn't know the order, though. When I saw the drink I thought she went ahead and got me a Dr pepper even though I said no I'm fine, because that's how we are at times to treat each other. When she called to inform a complaint, while my mom can be a little strongheaded to voicing her frustrations (mind you these mess ups happen SO often, she has every right to be upset), but it's not like she was being rude or saying anything inappropriate.
Whoever she spoke to told her something along the line of "well you can tell the difference between a sprite and a coke, so why didn't you say anything before" and of course she had to explain that I was driving and I received the order while she was in the passenger seat and she wasn't paying attention at the time.
Yes, it is her fault for not checking nor communicating what the order was to me, but they have no excuse at this point to be constantly messing up orders. We've had wrong sizes, wrong sandwiches, wrong drinks, and even missing items.
Tonight, I simply ordered a large dr pepper and a large fry. I meant to give it a sip before driving home in case it was messed up, but it slipped my mind because I can easily forget things within seconds.
My drink turned out to be a nasty watered down, low fizz, root beer. I'm so done with this location and their errors. It was my favorite go-to since the nearby McDonald's is constantly busy and especially my go-to when I need something before or after work.
I work in retail as a manger, so I understand the struggle of customer service, and this isn't to lecture or put anyone down, but please take it as...
Read moreThis was my first experience visiting this Burger King on Harlem Avenue. They have set the bar higher for every other fast food place in the southern suburbs.
The fries were crispier than I usually find at McDs. It was a small order and I could tell that they had been shaken so that every cubic centimeter of that box had a hot crispy fry filling it.
The Whopper's meat patty was less squashed down than I usually find at most fast food places. The burger was especially juicy and fresh because it hadn't been sitting under a heat lamp since I got up this morning. (tic)
I hate to share this secret because it slows down the line, but I order my sandwiches without mustard or ketchup. Not only is it safer for my t-shirt, it guarantees that my special order is freshly made.
Also, I ordered coffee and instead of giving me the dregs of the morning breakfast rush, they chose to make a fresh pot for me. I was in the drive through, so I had to pull over to wait for it, but it was better than even I can make in my Keurig at home.
I shouldn't put this at the end, because the staff deserves their Kudos. Not to be bashing teens, but at least one of the staff was an adult (mid-30s) who cared about her job and trained the teen to use good manners and to care about putting out a quality product.
Sorry, other food joints, but I will probably be giving fewer 5 star ratings, because this Burger...
Read moreIt was a long wait in the drive thru. Cashier got everything right. When I arrived at the window. One bag was given me. I ordered three combos. I told BK we employee where the rest of my order as I was rushed. Asking for my receipt I repeat my order. I had to give her back the bag that was given because that was all wrong. Burgers are finally given to me correctly but still waiting on the bag of fries. Great now I'm just waiting on the drinks which she totally forgot. I had to remind her that I got three combos which means that I get drinks. No drink holders so I had to put two drinks between my legs and one one the holder that the car comes with. I checked the bag before I leave and had to ask for...
