Okay, look. We all know what Rosati's is. They are basically one level above the Domino's and Little Cesars type of pizza. It's below average pizza. But today they are offering that $3.50 deal. How can you pass that up, right? Well, I tried calling in an order maybe about 15 different times between 12:00noon and 1:00. Busy signal every single time. Finally I get through on roughly my 16th attempt and I'm put on hold for maybe 10 minutes. That's not an exaggeration - I was literally put on hold for 10 mins. I waited it out though because I figured if I hung up I'd end up getting a busy signal if I tried again...... FINALLY I talk to a real person, at maybe 1:30pm and he tells me they are no longer offering that $3.50 deal that was promised for today..... Oh and BTW, my parents who live in Elmhurst and tried to Elmhurst Rosati's were told the exact same thing around 3pm. Also, I have a co-worker who was trying to get this offer through the Woodridge location, but they gave up after about 20 minutes of not being able to get through on the phone..... LMAO.
So let's recap..... they offer a deal that they don't have the man-power or capability to be able to honor, which is very clearly the case because 3 different locations went into complete MELT DOWN MODE today. And they claim this $3.50 offer was to say "thank you" to the customer's for however many years of business? Excuse me, but all this deal showed was how completely incompetent and mismanaged you are. 3 different lcoations tested on this today (Countryside, Elmhurst and Woodridge). Maybe 50 total phone calls placed, 49 of them gave busy signals. 1 call actually went through and resulted in 10 minutes of being on hold. And 2 of the 3 stores said they were no longer offering the deal (because obviously they were incapable of handling it). The 3rd store probably canceled the deal too, but I cant say for sure since we gave up trying with that one after we couldnt get through on the phone........ All that their little 3.50 deal proved is what everyone pretty much already knows. This is a mismanaged, poorly staffed, fast food style subpar pizza place that you should never expect anything above average from.

Read morePizza Is really good. We usually order the thin crust with easy cheese and extra sauce and it's delicious. That homemade sauce is hard to beat. My suggestion is to sign up to their online account and they usually are good on sending you over coupons for up to 20% off on your orders, so that's pretty sweet. On Friday they have free giveaways with delivery orders (can sleeves, marinera sauce, etc). Delivery is as expected as far as how long it takes them to deliver. I'm nearby and usually wait the normal 45min-1hr. Removed one star because on occasion they have forgotten to include all my order , so please double check (as with any delivery) that the entire order is there. For example, this past order the forgot my jalapenos on the side and I didn't get them, I didn't bother calling back. There's no point in having someone drive back for a cup of jalapenos. Also their website , while nice to have , needs a little bit of fine tuning. Not exactly very user friendly and needs to be a bit more intuitive. That's more of an overall corporate office thing but still worth mentioning. Overall good pizza , entire family enjoys it and they have more comfort food as well, check out the website. They also have daily $5 walk in specials where you get a big slide of pizza and a can of...
Read moreAn excellent pizza whether you like very thin bar pizza; a regular thicker / double dough; or deep dish and they also have a full menu in addition to the pizza. I've only tried the thin crust and the double dough but I'm sure that the deep dish is just as good if the other two are any indication. I have not tried any food from the menu except the fries which just okay just as you would get at any other pizza place that's been delivered. The bag keeps in the moisture so your fries end up pretty soggy. But that's with any place so can't help that but they aren't bad and they are the thicker cut fries so no skinny McDonald's fries. I plan on trying a dinner soon. I'd also like to point out that their Pizza arrives very hot! I've never had a pizza arrive at my house that hot. It was amazing, I can't say any more than 'I can't believe it was so hot' okay that's all: great Pizza, you should get it because you won't regret it.
One thing. Be patient with the man who answers the phone. He's very nice and he's a sweet old guy but is a kick in the pants to talk to LOL.
And it comes with my personal guarantee;
If you don't like it...
