The Penne Cacciatore was below average. The sauce tasted like a low budget store bought pasta sauce (a bit watery). There was plenty of meat in the dish. However, the chicken breast was a little over cooked and something in the Italian sausage seasoning was a little off-putting (maybe it didn't go well with the sauce). The red velvet cheesecake was pretty good though. All in all, this establishment is wayyy overpriced! At the price point I would've expected a much better quality meal. Food = 2.5 Service = 3 Atmosphere = 3

First time here to Prime Cut. The restaurant is ain a little town of Lyons Georgia. This place is very clean and has a separate bar area. The service, bartender, and hostess were very polite. We even met the owner, Tony. He was very helpful with the menu. Started with an appetizer of smoked pork belly. Then we had the tasting board. 4oz of aged NY Strip, 4oz Filet Mignon, and 4oz od Coulotte. The sides were asparagus and garlic mashed. This meal did not disappoint and I would recommend this restaurant.

It wasn't the best resturant I've been to, but it wasn't the worst either. The wait staff was pleasant. Everything seemed fairly priced regarding the experience except the RibEye was over priced for the cut of meat. I also believe a salad should not be an upcharge for the size of the salad which was served in a very small sauce dish.

Very generous 3 star review. I was extremely hesitant to leave a review as I think this restaurant has great potential and I hope this feedback is taken as constructive feedback.

First off, all of the servers but a couple have little to no experience it seems. They are not trained well to be observant of the customers needs and aren't very good at checking in and seeing if everything is okay. I have felt that the communication between them has been nonexistant at times as I was left with a feeling of abandonment until another server realized we were their guests. They seem to be somewhat knowledgeable of the menu, but this area could improve too.

The food is extremely well when cooked correctly. I have been a few times and have gotten different results each time. Last time I visited, I ordered a steak sampler and while the meat was flavorful and delicious, it was extremely overcooked. Such a tragedy for nice cuts of meat. I understand that cooking times of small cuts are hard to judge, but when you order such at a steakhouse and pay good money for it, you expect it to be perfect. The time before that when I was here, my steak was cooked decent, but very uneven (much longer on one side than the other). Thankfully it wasn't overcooked though.

Now for the atmosphere. There is a huge opportunity to improve here. The decor is bland and the theme is difficult to identify. The lighting is poor and empty, white walls is a missed opportunity. Im not saying the atmosphere is terrible, because it isn't; but it lacks a "fine dining" experience. Also, the fit and finishes done by the contractor who did the work are not of high quality and it almost looks as if they were in a rush to finish.

Overall, I will be visiting back for dinner from time to time, and I think that there is a big opportunity for improvement. The owners are both very polite and friendly people of whom I wish the best. This is not to be a negative review, but hopefully seen as constructive feedback. This restaurant has a huge potential to put Lyons back on the map and attract customers...

It was ok. For the price it was not exceptional. Our cost for dinner was $143, and for that amount of money in our area it should be amazing. The steak was good, the mashed potatoes were barely flavored, they were supposed to be garlic, there was not enough Garlic in the potatoes for me is to notice, had to send them back to the kitchen, they were cold. The salad was a disappointment, I ordered a salad and there was no flavor, hardly any dressing, the croutons had no flavor, the presentation was thoughtless, I didn’t want to eat it the moment they sat it down I front of me. The waiter bringing the salad walked up behind and me and served me from behind, he didn’t even walk around to the front of the table. I never saw his face, so weird. As a matter of fact I turned around to see who it was and he was walking off. My husband ordered the sampler and none of his steak was cooked correctly. The other person with us, who paid separately, on her own ticket ordered a Wagyu Burger, the menu stated that It came with caramelized onions, and being it was stated on the menu, and since she likes caramelized onions, she asked to have her caramelized onions on the side, her waitress took her order and when the food got the table her hamburger was so hard and over browned and there were no onions. She asked another waitress to let our waitress know that she was missing her onions and this waitress told her that caramelized onions were no longer offered with that burger but that she would go back and ask the chef would he fix her some, the waitress then came back and told us that the cook said he didn’t have time to make her the onions that he was backed up and didn’t have time to fix them. So, our experience was not the best, the restaurant was not crowded. Over priced and not worth it. We will...

Wanted to have steak for dinner so went to this as it had good reviews. We ordered 2 ribeye steaks, medium done. Steaks came to us medium well and with very little flavor. Typically a steak is seasoned with at least salt and pepper but neither were acceptable. I talked to the server and mentioned that the steaks were overcooked and poorly seasoned. The server took them back and said she would take care of it. When she brought them back they had cooked both steaks to well done! After that the manager came and we went back and forth about how I wanted my steak cooked. He said medium rare. I said no, medium. He said medium well, I said no, medium. He mentioned recooking our meals but at that point I informed him I would like to pay for our drinks and go. He said ok, then soon said not to worry about this. I can't describe how disappointed I was in my experience. The service should be more attentive to the feedback of the customer. I really don't think our server listened to what was said. The manager should not be going back and forth about how I wanted my steak cooked. I have never experienced this type of misunderstanding from a premium steak house. I have had steaks not cooked properly in other steak houses but never have I been this frustrated with how the staff tried to address...
