ScoopS — Restaurant in Lyons

There’s so many great things to say about scoops from the owners, employees, and all the way down to their ice cream. I basically go there all the time and sometimes twice in one day!😂 When they were closed almost two weeks, I thought I wasn’t going to make it without having some Scoops Pineapple Sherbet!!😂😂 Everyone is always so nice. Today when I arrived I had the pleasure of Maddie(I believe I am saying her name correct and hope I am spelling it correctly) to fix my Sherbet, although I mistakenly thought she was someone else. She was awesome, with a great big smile, great customer service, but most of all a heart of gold. When we got there there was absolutely no one inside. The two workers were sitting in the booths on their phones. Me and my boyfriend ordered 2 small ice creams for ourselves and I asked if they had anything smaller or a kids size for my son who was in the car with my mom. We were told they had a half size but it was for kids 3 or younger. I said yes my son is just in the car. The girl then very rudely told me that they had to be in the store to order it. Like is it that big of a deal? If I would have gone in with my son and ordered the half size but I ate it would they have come over to me to say something? lol...

I've been saying I was going to try this ice creamery for a while and finally got my chance- it was such a treat!!! The prices are fair and the whole family can walk out feeling special because the girls behind the counter smiled like GA peaches on a summer day! You can taste your desired flavor before committing to your treat and even spoil your kiddos to extra treats from the candy shop. They even have a display full of decadent treats drizzled in all sorts of wonderful flavors- just take a look at my pics! I will definitely return fo coffee, then a cookie, or just with the kiddos to try a new shake....
