Usually I have a good experience with Leo’s but today was not. I order food from Leo’s about 1-2 times a week. Overall we probably spend a few thousand dollars a year there. When I place our order I always ask for foil to be placed down for the food. I don’t like super hot food going onto the styrofoam. After a few minutes the styrofoam actually deforms from the heat and leaches into the food. I’m not crazy about everything in food. This is just something I don’t like. So today I ordered breakfast for my family and I. As usual I asked for foil. I always stress that so they don’t forget. So after 20 minutes I head up there and pay for our food. I do a quick inspection and I find no foil and the styrofoam starting to deform for the pancakes I ordered for my daughter. I politely explained what happened and what I requested. I said I’m not upset and I’ll wait another 20 minutes but I don’t want this food. The lady at the register was super nice and she spoke to the supervisor and they agreed to redo the order. I waited another 20 minutes and then came back in the restaurant. It wasn’t quite ready yet so I stood in the carry out area. I was also able to watch the kitchen area. After a couple minutes, I see the cook taking carry out containers out of a bag. I can’t see what he’s doing with them but I’m kinda suspicious now. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes and see them putting the food in foil containers. I grab the food and express my gratefulness. I live 1/2 mile from Leo’s. I head straight home and walk in the door within 3 minutes. I start serving the food to the family. I notice the eggs are cold and so is the ham. My hash browns were hot and so was the corn beef hash. I could only imagine the cook took the food out, put the hash browns and corn beef hash back on the grill. The placed our old food back into a new container with foil. Unfortunately, everyone was already eating and at this point we just throw the rest away. Is this going to kill us? No, it’s not. It’s just the deception and effort put into not making a couple eggs. Was it worth the $7.00 in food to lose a customer that spends thousands a year? If this reaches the owner, I just want to make you aware. I understand you can’t control all your employees and I’m sure you instill good customer service. However, your company failed today. Thank you for the good customer service prior to today. We won’t be coming back but I hope this can be a learning experience for...
Read moreI usually love Leo's, but this location was awful. Most of the booths were dirty, the floor wasn't swept, and the windows needed a wipe down. Second, we were sat right by the door despite the restaurant being almost completely empty. Our waitress was a nightmare, not even having a moment to sit down, she bombarded us immediately. She asked me what I would like to drink, and our interaction went like this: I asked her if they had cherry pepsi, she goes "we have cherry coke", so I asked if they had regular pepsi and she's like "we have coke" so I'm like do you guys not serve pepsi products and she's like "we just have coke products". Lead with that instead of going through an awkward back and forth. She also upcharged only me for ordering the cheese despite us both ordering them. She also upcharged our drinks despite just ordering coke. Safe to say, we didn't tip because of poor of a job she did. I don't enjoy withholding money and I had to be convinced to do so. Our food was also incredibly dry I couldn't even finish it. The cheese cups literally just tasted like Velveeta straight from the packet, it was so hot it burned my mouth and when it cooled it was just really clumpy and nasty. I ordered a plain burger and she put the toppings on the side under the bun, which is not what I asked for. Finally, there was another sever who just pulled a chair to gossip about school problems. She grabbed another tables chair to sit with a...
Read moreI was so excited to have a Leo's close but not always the best customer service and the food is hit or miss. Seems like service is best earlier in the day, dinner time not so much. Today I ordered chicken gyro, first off I've never had a chicken gyro that had lettuce on it, but apparently that's how they make it. My idea of chicken gyro is tomato onion chicken and pita with tatziki(sp?)sauce. Lettuce was literally brown and wilted, called about it and young lady didn't seem like she cared put me on hold then confirmed that's how they make it she made me feel like I basically I just needed to deal with it, mind you there is not a description on the menu that indicates what is on the gyro and it doesn't excuse the inedible lettuce. I ended the call because it was obvious nothing would be done to rectify the situation. Spinach pie was not very tasty and pastry crust over cooked dark dark brown and seriously an extra charge to chop chicken on a salad? I spent $30 on two unsatisfactory dinners. I've been here a few times and never have been extremely happy but I keep trying because it's so darn convenient! Rest assured today will be the final time I hand over good money...
