Sam's Sorrento Pizza #23 — Restaurant in Macomb Township

Ordered a square pizza, cheese bread and salad. The salad was so wet we had to dry it with some paper towels. Cheese bread was pretty much on point. The square pizza was ok but they sprinkled some kind of season on it after it cooks and wasn't all that good. Made it taste like a bar pie. Next time I'll try a round and pass on the salad. Almost a great pie but something wasn't right with it, still ate it all tho. I hear the subs are fantastic, will probably try one and see. Would of gave 4 stars but they over charged and didn't fix it till I brought it up. They tired charging me 5 dollars in tax for a 30 dollar order. If I didn't catch it they would of let it slide, I wonder how many people overpaid without knowing or...

Done...spent $32 on a large pepperoni, mushroom pizza with 8 piece chicken wing, delivered not including tip. I live within 1/4 mile of the store so delivery was within 30 min. Great...right? Cold, doughy pizza, $10.50 for 2 drummies and 6 flats, $4 delivery which is fine if the food is worth it but think twice is all I am saying cause I won't do it again. Was always a good go to for us for almost 20 years but not so anymore. Very good pizza. Lots of cheese on my pizzas. My usual location was closed so came here. The gentleman? behind the counter looked displeased to be at work, scowling. Was day of high winds and I had difficulty opening the door with wind blowing directly at it, watched me like I didn't know it was a push/pull door. Also, my total ended in 1 cent. I didn't have a penny. I wasn't running out to my car for it. He literally gave me 99c back, vs dipping into the "tip jar" - which, if comped the penny, would have given a dollar given the circumstances of the times. But nope, sorry. Kindness...
