Jackson Street Pub — Restaurant in Macomb

I've loved the Jackson Street Pub for the past 15 years. I lived in Macomb for 4 years while I attended Western Illinois University. They have always had great pub food. Their horseshoe is best I have ever had. After college, I moved back home and do not get to Macomb often. When work had me attending a training in the area, I had to have a Jackson Street Pub horseshoe for supper.... And it was as great as the last one I had there probably 8 years ago. Don't judge this book by its cover. The run down looking building adds to the charm of this diamond...

I would give zero stars if I could. If you are an out of towner, it’s trash. Go to BWW or Chicks on the Square…..The food was sub-par, the bar and bathroom was about a 1/10. I ordered the pony shoe, and it was the worst one I’ve ever had. I was in Macomb, IL and decided it was a good day to stop by Jackson Street Pub for lunch. I decided to order and enjoy a hamburger horseshoe with waffle fries, cheddar cheese sauce, two hamburger patties on two pieces of white bread, and I added grilled onions. Being a WIU alumni class of 2006, I hadn't had a horseshoe in a very long time, and it was just as good as I remembered!
