Couldn’t really believe Ray’s reputation until I witnessed it myself. This man is truly abhorrent. I’ve never met a more fatuous person in my life. Treats his employees and customer base with a complete lack of respect. Very foul. I’ve seen people be completely polite to Ray and there was zero reciprocation on his behalf. The total opposite actually. I witnessed a man come into the restaurant and sit down with a folder. Ray was preparing someone’s order. Yet as soon as the young man’s rear hit the chair, Ray asked him what he wanted. The man politely said, “That’s alright you can take care of the other guests first, that are here before me.” Ray insisted yet the young man continued to be polite and just said that he’ll wait. Ray told him no, and that he needs to order. Then man then replied, “I’m not here to order anything at the moment thank you.” Ray in a bewildered fluster said, “you cannot sit in my restaurant then. Order or leave.” The man stood as he said, “I’m actually here to speak with you Ray. When you have a moment.” Ray refused and told him to leave the store. Many of the guests had blank dumbfounded faces as none of us understood what was happening. After receiving my order and leaving the horrid establishment (of which I’ll never return) Ray followed behind me. Unsure of why, I courteously held the door for him. He walked through without any thanks and straight to the young man that was still waiting. Now just in his vehicle. I stayed and waited just as a concerned bystander. Ray seemed so unpredictable and unprofessional I felt inclined to be a witness. Ray approached the man’s vehicle and asked him to leave the parking lot. In a calm manner the man said, “Ray I have something for you, it’ll only take a moment of your time.” Ray told the man, “You aren’t listening, leave.” The young man politely persisted. “Ray would you just take my resumé? Ray refused adding, “I don’t want anything from you.” The man then obliged and left. Seeing Ray act in such a way is nothing but perturbing. To think this nice, well groomed and well spoken man just ultimately wanted to help Ray. & he just essentially kicked him out the door. Horrible. We abhor you Ray. You’re despicable. Read moreWould give no stars if possible. Never even got my sandwich. Order at 12:25 pm to have the sandwich delivered at 1pm because I would be home at that time. Had to hassle with the rude woman over the phone just to place an order. I also had to pay a tip in advance. After waiting several minutes after 1pm I called to ask if my order was in route. The very rude lady grabbed the phone and screamed that she had been at my house for 30 minutes calling and waiting. It was only 1:07 pm so she came too early when I specifically told her to have it delivered at 1pm. Then I apologized and asked for a refund of my money and told her to have a nice day which she responded by hanging up on me. I then called back politely to ask for a refund and she said I made her life miserable and never to call back. Told her I will be paying a visit and writing a review. My only complaint is the owner is not friendly,and lacks good customer service. I understand you have to deal with many idiotic college students on a daily basis, but your business is built on the edge of a college campus. For that I understand your frustrations as an owner, and why some people give you poor reviews. I am giving ISS 5 stars, because the food is delicious, the establishment is clean, and I have good memories eating there.
