Today I went to the China Inn with my husband and we ordered the "chicken rice noodles" with no curry. I struggled with the drink machine but the woman was nice enough to show me what I was doing wrong. This is my 5th or 6th time ordering this same exact meal from this same exact place EXCEPT this time, the man made our food instead of the woman. The quality was the same BUT I got to a certain part of my meal and there was a green, wax paper like thing in my food. I didn't notice it initially because I had put it in my mouth due to it "looking" like cabbage but once I began to chew it, I could tell it wasn't really edible. I presented my findings to the man and woman who run the place and she kind of just looked at it as if she knew it wasn't lettuce because there was shock on her face. She then showed the man and he takes one glance and says "it's vegtable" i then explained the texture and how hard it was to chew and how it wasn't deteriorating like food would, even after chewing for a while. She then co-signed and said well it's vegetable. I said no. Vegetables are edible and that's the only thing in my food (so far) that was that texture nd inedible. He then tells me that some vegetables are harder to chew than others and hands me the PLASTIC back. I've been eating vegetables my while life and never had a problem with COOKED VEGGIES being a problem to chew! There was wax paper, plastic, and or packaging in my food and they would not acknowledge it or do anything about it and I refuse to patron here ever again. I've been going here every week (literally) since I moved to Macon and never had a problem which is fine but if a customer tells you there's a problems, it's your job to fix it or at least show sympathy for the mishap not lie, mislead, and disregard what's being said. Needs a customer service...

Visiting the Forsyth area, I was planning on scoping out the sights for some good local eating. Finding this spot on Google- particularly scooping for large portions for budget pricing, I was expecting good result from the previous reviews posted. I was not disappointed. The location was in an awkward spot, among the business sector, but I am sure they receive many visitors.
I enjoyed the fact they offer both Japanese and Chinese style cuisine, which is just the type and amount of sauce/ cooking style used. I opted for hibachi because I wanted less sauce, which I usually gravitate towards. It was reasonable, quoting Hibachi Chicken with extra vegetables for 14.60. Granted, from the photos, this 'extra vegetables' was merely more shredded lettuce. Regardless, I knew this prior to ordering. That being said, the wait time was very reasonable.
There is very limited ambiance. Its a strip mall feel. Limited seating inside. Drab. I did not come for environment. I came for good food, which is what I received. I believe what I bought was a good value for the money. The only criticism I have is to employ some salt and pepper for simple seasoning. If not salt (I understand dietary restrictions) then some other seasoning that does not involve salt. I added salt and pepper to my meal at my residence and it did wonders. The amount of chicken I received was proportionate and the rice was white rice actually cooked on the stove top.
Lastly, staff was efficient. Quick and to the point, but not in a bad way. Oh, there's one cup of Yum Yum sauce included. It was not watery, just right. I ate several bites before I took picture, oops.
I would visit again when I am in the...
Read moreI ate their twice in the last couple weeks being right down the road from me and needing some food to eat I got the "HOUSE FRIED RICE" witch consist of pork, shrimp, & chicken (I'm almost certain of the chicken and positive on the rest) and the first time was a little short however was no problem with that but they wasn't gonna not serve/feed me money wasn't an issue with them and u gotta love what u do! they love to prepare a good meal & for them of course they have to at least cover their expenses and make a living so they also can eat and live however I myself personally believe if I had no money at all and really needed it they would help me also maybe I'm wrong but that's what I believe! That in itself for me determines who I deal with how I treat them as well as how often I'll come back. If I come to ur place and eat all the time everyday and have no money then one day I work on somebody's car and get $200 and go across the street to the Greek pizza place spend $30 over there eating and tomorrow when I'm broke again come back to eat at ur place again for free I'd be completely wrong then the man should run me off and never give me nothing again. But yea this is a good clean place with a comfortable safe friendly environment also awesome place to eat as well as the old cotton mill behind them they were very nice to us as well awesome people with great food and service under...
