Layers — Restaurant in Macon

I contacted the business on June 5th, and asked if they made New York style Cheesecake. Layers sent a pic of what they were representing as the Cheesecake I was acquiring about. The Cheesecake in the picture they sent me looked incredibly delicious and I was interested in buying a whole Cheesecake which I was quoted 75 dollars plus tax. So I paid for the Cheesecake over the phone and was given June 7th a Saturday for pickup at 3pm at their location. When I arrived I was greeted nicely and the woman went to the Freezer to grab my order she showed me the Cheesecake which at the time seemed to be frozen because the strawberries were not in the thin liquid form from the attached pic I was sent describing the Cheesecake I was ordering. So I assumed the Cheesecake needed to thaw. I left the store and went home. Once I arrived home and set the Cheesecake out to assume it needed to be thawed out is then when I was cutting into the Cheesecake thats when I noticed the Cheesecake wasn't frozen but the strawberry topping was made in a hard Jell-O filled sauce and not the homemade thin sauce in the picture representing what I was paying for at all and definitely not what I was sent in the picture for what I was buying. Long story the Cheesecake was horrible had a nasty taste from the Jell-O filled sauce and just 80 dollars wasted down the drain I threw the Cheesecake away. I will attach pics showing the slice up piece of Cheesecake and how the sauce was dripping over the Cheesecake and you can see what pic I was sent verse what I actually received. Very disappointing after all the great reviews and awards this company has received. I highly don't recommend due to my experience due to the Owners not even understanding the situation of the misrepresentation from the pic they sent me and they just brushed me by saying thanks for giving me a try no kind of explanation for the difference and no trying to rectify the situation especially in my opinion of knowing they deceived me with the pic I was sent compared to what I received. Pics attach you tell me the difference. And for anyone who's looking for a delicious Cheesecake try Kreme Cheesecake in my opinion is and located over by presidential pkwy in Macon as well half the price of what I paid here and extremely delicious 😋 all statements are based off my experience...

Every time we try a new seasonal flavor we adore it! Surprisingly I am almost never a cake person since most cake tends to be so dry and crumbly. But that all changes when it comes to Layers! Their cakes have such a perfect texture and moisture level, and even their sweetest desserts are never so overly sweet it’s off putting, like so many sugary treats tend to be. You get actual flavor, not just sweetness! You won’t find another perfect balance like they’ve got down. My family has always personally shared in the excitement every time we see them win yet another very deserved award.
