This is by far the worst Kystals in Macon! If you go inside or drive-thru the service is extremely slow. I've only returned due to convenience. Each time I've gone through the drive-thru, I've had to wait 3-4 mins to place my order. Then had to wait at least another 15 mins or longer, whether they're busy or not, to get my order. Making matters worse, every time I've visited, my order is ALWAYS wrong! Although this Kystals is closest to where I live, I usually try to avoid this place due to slow service and inaccuracy. (It's simple, light mustard and extra pickles on 3 burgers). My LAST visit was 2 days ago when I went through the drive-thru. As I usually do, I checked my order before leaving and to no surprise, my burgers were made WRONG as two left shoes....drenched in mustard, NO pickles and the fries were cold! Very upset having to go through this yet again, I went inside and spoke with the manager who was very nice and accommodating. I explained to her my disappointment of having my order wrong every time I come to this location because of lazy workers who either dont care or choose not to be attentive to special requests or both. She even confirmed what I asked for was on their order slip. When the manager brought this to the 2 cooks attention, neither one of them wanted to take ownership of the error and shrugged it off as no big deal, yet still taking they're sweet time to make the burgers over. As I watched them, I can see why the wait time is so long, the workers move like snails and look lost! Your employees need more training ASAP and please require hair nets! The owner's replies to low rated reviews is that they're making improvements but I havent noticed even the slightest improvements with service or food quality in the last few months to a year! Read moreLet me start by staying, there was not an issue with the staff. The staff was under extreme circumstances and on the verge of heat exhaustion. I am down right appalled, at the condition of this location. My son is Autistic with special needs, and he is very particular about the food he eats and the places he can stand to go and Krystal is one of his all time favorites. We decided to get him out of the house and surprise him. It was so hot inside that it was almost impossible to eat without vomiting. The staff was heavily sweating while trying to fill orders. Totally not their fault. There was a fan behind the counter circulating hot air. We attempted to stay and try to let him enjoy his meal and being out of the house, but we had to leave, we couldn't take it. Sweat was drenching all our clothing and running into our eyes. Not even exaggerating. I felt so bad for the staff for having to work in that condition in this heat. My son was sad that we couldn't stand it any longer and had to get him out of there before went into a severe asthma attack. The men's bathroom was out of order, the frozen drink machine was out of order, the sprite was out, and there wasn't any sweet tea. The "new management" sign plastered on the doors should be removed because this place is in worse shape than it was before and that's pretty bad. To make it even worse, they have a disabled person working there under those conditions. We couldn't even enjoy our $40 worth of crappy food due to the circumstances we were in. We had to toss it in the trash and leave before we all became sick. I am extremely shocked that none of these employees have reported the owner because I absolutely would have and I am currently considering doing it myself. Read moreI past by about 4 Krystals on the way to work each day this one is the closest to my job so i tend to stop here out of time. I have been to this one over 4mths about 5 times. The last time i cam in they made my food wrong but i had already gotten to work. Soooo I called the store the manger was very nice and said he would replace the wrong order. Well this am i went in to get what needed to be fixed and a few other items. The girl at the window had a nasty attitude of huffing and puffing bc i told her what was going on. Well she says noting rolls her eyes and gets the manger. The mgr fixes the order well so i thought. This time they only gave me half my order. I arrive at work call them to let them know and tell them I am coming back to get the res of the food I payed for. The little girl at the window is still there with her nasty attitude and rolls her eyes again and gets the manger. No sorry no anything. She then begins to scream I need ones as loud as can be in my ear. Maybe you should have her doing something else in your business bc customer service is not her strong point. She is rude for no reason talks back and should not be the face of your company. I wanted to to tell her where to go and what she could do with my food but I refrained for stooping to her level. She then has the nerve to scream your welcome to me as if she has done something right.
