I learned about this location from Google. It sounded simultaneously new and familiar. The menu seemed appetizing along the lines of popular street food such as beef patties, jerk chicken wings, your choice of a Greek meat paired with biriyani rice dishes, and gyro wraps. The price points for the meals aren't too shabby, on par with some of Macon's popular restaurants. There are a few items under $10 as well. My chicken wrap cost roughly $9 and I paid approximately $11 including the tip. The restaurant is actually a food truck, but it appears to be currently stationary indefinitely. There is parking right in front of it, and other establishments in the shopping center off of Forsyth Road, and a little off to the side. From what I could see, the counter and kitchen areas were clean and organized. They currently have a 100 A+ food inspection score. You can see your food being prepared from the grill to the window and you don't have to wait very long. I believe my order was ready within 10 to 15 minutes. The staff seemed efficient and a well-oiled machine once I placed my order. I found the owner/cook to be rather friendly! He was polite, knowledgeable, and personable. Apparently, the place has been open for about two to three months and they are open from noon til midnight. The owner & cashier were even kind enough to pose for a picture for me before they finished my food and handed it to me. My food was packaged rather neatly. It was hot and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it. My food was wrapped in foil, and placed in a paper bag with napkins on the side. I'm funny about food drippings in my car. Luckily my bag had those napkins to catch the juice that was dripping from the bottom of my neatly foil wrapped chicken wrap. When I got home, there wasn't a big mess, but I still plated it. There seemed to be quite a lot of meat to the point where it was hard to keep some of it in the wrap. (That's kind of a good problem to have.) The food was still hot, ready to eat, and tasted slightly spicy yet delicious with their special sauces! I don't believe there was a ton of fluff on my food, so I felt that I got my money's worth considering the time of night and options available. Would I go there again? Yes. I would like to see added variety when it comes to the patties. I don't eat beef anymore, so a good chicken or veggie or they can even innovate a lamb patty on their menu. I appreciate that there were grilled options available as grilled or baked are my preferences. I look forward to trying them again. I should mention that there were several people who came to pick up to-go orders and some people came who appeared to be repeat customers. That's a pretty good sign of the type of establishment, service, and quality of food being offered. Any restaurant & staff that have a good rapport with their potential and recurring customers speaks volumes. I rated fours for the food and atmosphere. This was my very first visit so I will see how they do when I do go back. I'm giving these guys of five for service because they were pretty cool! I hope this helps when you consider trying them.

Reviewed by Icy Elbert: I've only had Halal food twice and the location is now closed so I was happy to see Halal food back in Macon with such rave reviews. When I arrived, I showed him a Google picture from his reviews of what I wanted and said I wanted chicken instead of shrimp. I also ordered 2 beef patties because I just love beef patties. He told me he would bring my order to the car which I was grateful for because it was hot. I did not mind the wait either for fresh food. I was the only one there but car after car started pulling up. That was a really good sign. The presentation of the food was nice. You know you eat with your eyes first. Well, I do. The food is really good. You can definitely tell it's fresh. Tho its not a convenient location for me, I would still drive here for food.

Such a hidden, but not so hidden gem I know everyone is sleeping on. If you want well seasoned, flavorful, tender, mouth watering halal food, THIS IS THE PLACE. I had almost everything on the menu. The chicken rice platter is 🔥 but my go to is the chicken pita wrap. And if you want chicken wings that will set your mouth on fire, get the jerk chicken. 🥵 The service is great. Everyone is friendly and chill. And the atmosphere is perfect. They recently added picnic tables and stream lights. It’s perfect for hanging out or a cute outdoor date. Or it’s perfect for nights when dinner is take out that won’t disappoint. I’ll be trying the Jamaican beef patties and the cookies and cream cheesecake next.

Seriously nothing like it , from customer service, care, friendly communication, and the best food of its kind in Macon, really nothing like it. This is my third time here and everytime it’s the same and better , meaning the food is the same and better and same goes for the customer service . They are consistent, timely and food ALWAYS FRESH and light. Healthy choices that don’t make you feel heavy when you’re done eating it’s great. Oly made the food exceptionally well, I ordered the jerk chicken this time and it’s great nice spice to it and the combo of veggies and rice compliment it very nicely . Gee suggested that I try the jerk chicken with the coa coa bread , then not only offered me a piece but ended up giving me the rest of it . Bruh you can’t pay for experiences like this . We have to make sure this place lives a long life...
