Mrs Winners Chicken & Biscuits — Restaurant in Macon

I was very displeased at the quality of service. I’ve never eaten here. My neighbor asked me to get her some so I did. When I pulled to the speaker, I wasn’t greeted but I was told “go ahead and order” I ignored it the 1st time because I thought she could’ve been talking to someone in the restaurant. She said it again. I asked her how she was doing to maybe break the ice or maybe turn her bad day around. She replied “I’m good”. I procceed with the order. She mumbled a price & I wasn’t done ordering. I asked her was she having a bad day and she replied it was good. So I asked her to repeated what I thought she asked me but she gave me a total. I let her know I was not done. She replied “I thought you were done” I told her she didn’t even ask was I done. I was greeted by a woman who was pleasant & another one was on the register. My receipt said Monique. She could’ve been using someone’s register but she’s was the lady with the dreadlocks. Her appearance seemed like she didn’t want to be there or either she wasn’t having a happy New year. If her name is Monique, Monique please have better service when it comes to your customers. Being that I’ve never eaten there that 1 bad experience made me never want to come back again which I planned on it because the cinnamon swirl sounds as if it would be tasty. I will pass. I waited to do this review because I didn't get to order the first time. I waited at the order window for about ten minutes listening to the staff converse with one another. The line wasn't long, the parking lot was almost empty. Extremely confused as to why I had to drive off without even ordering. That is not why I gave them two stars. I went back so they could redeem themselves. A complete let down! The chicken tasted like old grease and no seasoning. The potato wedges are great in size but that's it. The mashed potatoes were descent and the best thing that I ordered. The macaroni and cheese was hot but nothing special. The biscuit is good, not overly dry or hard. Lastly the meals didn't come with a drink. If that's their policy okay fine. But 17 dollars worth of nasty food is not okay. I was told by multiple people that it was a bad day and to give them one more chance. Okay so I recently went (9/25) and still disappointed in the quality of food. One of the worst places to work at the owner ASH mistreats his employees and he don't like to hire anyone with mental issue. Look like he fired me today without telling me because I told him the truth and ask for more money on my paycheck if I do two people job what's wrong with paying me more then he disrespected his workers and when I told him back off he takes me off work rest of the week I'm doing my job I can see if I was doing it wrong. This man talks to his employees bad and we work hard he do nothing.
