AVOID THIS LOCATION! Upon entry we were not greeted at all. There were 4 empty tables with dirty dishes on them. Three of those tables had constitutes (we saw them walk in before us) standing beside them waiting to be seated. Unsure of the norm, we followed suite and proceeded to stand beside the 4th table. A waitress immediately walked over, cleared and cleaned the 3 tables to allow those to be seated, BUT DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT US.
As we stood at the 4th table for 22 minutes the 3rd table constitutes addressed the waitress by telling her we came in with them and our table had not even been cleaned yet (we were still standing beside the table). All 3 other tables had their food at this point and no one still had not acknowledged us.
A male waiter who was just hanging out behind the counter with Ms Debra (I overheard her name being called), but neither was doing ANYTHING but leaning on the counter just looking at us and talking with another constituent discussing how we had not been helped but we came in before them. They too had received their food and was almost finished eating.
After 38 minutes of standing at a dirty table we politely left and went to the Riverside Drive location. We should have left sooner; however, we waited to see just how long they would overlook us. We also had extra time to smile and assess if this was really happening to us.
The Riverside Drive location was packed with constituents, but we received excellent quick service and tipped the waitress and cooks $80 (our standard tip for good service).
I WOULD LIKE TO THINK MY NEXT STATEMENT IS COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL ON MY PART, nonetheless, I’m going to read the room in words. Every single Caucasian patron were immediately served. We were the only brown skinned constituents other than the cooks and one waitress.
I recommend everyone going to the Riverside Drive location where ALL PEOPLE are served accordingly without being overlooked to cater to the Caucasian...
Read moreI went to this Forsyth location this morning around 11:45am (should any supervisor want to review the security footage). I was greeted when I walked in with my daughter. We sat down at the bar and NOT ONE PERSON tried to assist me! A lady worked on the dishes directly in front of us. Another lady helped the Caucasian couple immediately next to us. One cook was on his cell phone. Another lady kept walking back and forth not appearing to be immediately busy with anything or anyone while my daughter and I sat at the bar with dirty dishes still left from the previous person.
After about 5-10 minutes, I just left with my little one and headed to the Arkwright location. As this is our usual dining preference when dining at Waffle House, this morning, the Forsyth location was just just bit closer. It was a mistake.
Anyone reading this, please come to the Arkwright location. The location is clean, the staff is super friendly. Ms. Tiffany and her crew are kind and helpful to ALL PEOPLE that enter their establishment not just to the...
Read moreUpon arrival at at the waffle house 2402. There was three booth that was available. One in the back and two unclean booth in the front. An employee said there is a booth in the back. We stated we wanted to sit in the front booth and waited for it to be clean. The manager JESSICA, stated that the two unclean booth was closed but the booth in the back was available. How ever the booth in the back was not clean. Then we was told we could sit in the front booth so we went back to the front. As we waited in the in the front booth for sevice none of the booths was ever closed. My question is why booths was not cleaned in the first place? There was six employee behind the counter Overall Mrs. Wanda took really took good care of us. But JESSICA needed more management training. I think she more training and understanding why cleanliness and customer service will bring your customers back. All arriving guests shoud be seated right away or as soon as possible not...
