The food is good, but at this point I need to give it 1 star. I called in an order and asked for mustard only on one of the 2 sandwiches. Got home, had mayo and pickles. Went back up there, they fixed it and gave me a coupon for a free one for next time. Called in an order on another occasion and asked for the same thing. Even stating no pickles or mayo, mustard only. When I got there I attempted to use the free card and was told it was for each time you visit you get a stamp or a punch. I politely told the lady no, you guys screwed up the order and gave me a freebie. After back n forth and telling her whatever I'll pay but that's not what was said, they gave me the free one. I get home, there's pickles on it! So now fast forward, I'm attempting to place another order, and I see you can order online. Great I'll order our same, one sandwich with mustard only. I typed in special instructions, "no mayo or pickles, mustard only." I go there, about 20 minutes later, and the order is still sitting there on the ticket no one's touched it. I go in and the lady is real nice and apologetic for the delay, and they're trying to get my order for me, I'm being nice too. She repeats the ticket back to me. Clearly saying mustard only. My husband and I decided to stop in on May 29th 2024since we hadn't been to the restaurant in a couple of years. The last time we were in they had a special where you could get a bowl of soup and a half a Cuban sandwich and when we asked the young man at the counter if they had this special his reply was "no we don't and we never have". I said to him well the last time we were in we had that and we just wondered if you still were having it and he said "like I said we've never had it and we don't have it and probably won't ever have it". My husband was a little annoyed at the rudeness and said let's go and I said no no let's let's just stay and have something to eat so I told the young man we'll have to look at the menu, he proceeded to turn around and walk away into the back of the kitchen. After we studied the menu and decided what we would have we turned around to put in our order, the young man from the counter was still in the back kitchen he turned looked at us turned his back and went the opposite direction and disappeared and never came back out. At that point I said to my husband you're right let's go this is ridiculous. I am truly disappointed, the last time we visited this restaurant the staff was courteous and pleasant and helpful, if Pipos is going to keep young people at the counter with no social skills and absolutely no manners I don't think...
