Bake Me Happy — Restaurant in Madison

I don't even know where to start! Bake Me Happy went above and beyond to provide us with the dessert table we've dreamed of! I come from a large Italian family in NY, and desserts are not taken lightly! So to say Bake Me Happy delivered is an understatement. Not only did they make us the most beautiful wedding cake, but the taste and flavor were also out of this world! I am not a big sweets girl. However, everything we ordered was a perfect balance of not too sweet and not too dry. My family and friends (even those from NY) are STILL raving about our desserts! Everything was beyond delicious. In addition to the fantastic wedding cake, we ordered a variety of flavors of cupcakes and donuts, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, and a groom's cake that I must rave about! I reached out to Krystle telling her that my husband likes golf, NC Panthers, was in the Navy, and since we were getting married on the Fourth of July weekend, I wanted an American Flag on the cake as well... oh and write "Best Hubby" on the cake. I imagined a basic cake with a few details, but no... this cake and design were unbelievable! It was more than I could have ever imagined! My husband was blown away... and again, not only by the design but the flavor! We don't live close by to Bake Me Happy, but you can bet that we will be ordering all our future desserts and cake needs with them from here on out! Thank you SO much for making our day...

All i can say is that the owner is very nice person. Her business is doing well and she do her business to make the best cakes.

The only thing I didn't like is that she care more about money than being fair. I scheduled the tasting and then the week after, i couldn't reach her cuz she closed on Mon-Wed. I called on Wed, the following week, to ask her to pay a deposit on Wed. She said that she was busy with other appointments. So she accepted to meet the next day (Thur), but the morning of Thur she left a voicemail saying that she couldn't do it because another customer paid a deposit. She didn't even bother call me to ask if I want to still hold the date or not. I do not recommend her nor trust someone with that personality to make my cake. Instead of taking care of us as customers who drove a long way to get their, who was working with her, she littetely accepted a new customer just because they paid a small deposit. I understand it's first come first serve basis, but still you don't make plans with people and work with them, and then just skip them because of money. We had to drive from a city to another to get there.

Dont go to her. Shes so awful. Even though she offer low cost cake, she's not the right or honest person to work with!! She even doesnt have any staff with her. What a stupid small business to work with. Stay away from her buisness!

Bake Me Happy was absolutely the perfect choice for our rehearsal dinner cake(Groom’s cake) & our wedding cake. We met Krystle for a taste testing at the beautiful Bella Collina Mansion on our interview day. We tasted so many different yummy flavors. Krystle is so sweet, professional, organized, talented & super easy to work with. Both cakes were absolutely beautiful and so delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had a 3 layer cake with 2 different flavors which was vanilla cake with fresh strawberries 🍓 and the top layer with lemon 🍋. ALL of our guests talked about how delicious the cake was on our wedding day. We can’t wait to go to see Krystle again for some yummy treats and taste our 1 year anniversary cake that she is going to make for us completely fresh.
