Absolutely amazing! Most definitely 5 ⭐ from my family and definitely myself. So I had googled the number to Tianos nc we've got a new phone and phone number ourselves, & unfortunately lost all contacts. And I love to cook for my little family and I do so every night. Well on Monday, November-02-2020, I did indeed look up the number, and I asked what time were they open until? Well I had plenty of time and I was coming from Martinsville VA to go to Madison stop at Tianos get my food, go get in the cigarette store beside Tianos and be headed straight home. So I go ahead and call my order in. Jaxson wanted a cheeseburger happy meal for a boy, no sauce, double fry's, & chocolate milk for his drink from McDonald's, so we stopped at the one in Martinsville, headed out of VA n2 NC.
But anyways they answer the phone at Tianos, the man puts me on hold, then comes back on the phone with me and I am trying to let him know I want to place an order. He stated he could barely hear me, & asked me to hold again, he's switching cordless phones to try & hear me. .....waiting patiently...... approximately 7 minutes later, he's back on the phone & asks me if I can hear him. I was like YEAH, I'VE HEARD EVERYTHING, EVERYTIME! Anyways, now that all the phone issues are situated I proceed to place my order. I need:::: *2 steak & cheese subs, with only light mayonnaise, steak, cheese, onions, green peppers and mushrooms on toasted hoagie/sub bread; 1 steak & cheese subs, with extra mayonnaise, steak, cheese, & onions ONLY (specifically made it clear, NO, ABSOLUTELY NO MUSHROOMS!!! I'm highly allergic to them so please don't even cook my steak & onions ANYWHERE around the other 2 subs that have mushrooms on them. Can't take NO chances, DON'T want to have an emergency room visit bc of the mushroom (s), in, on, or around my steak, cheese, & onions. *Each sub comes with a pickle wrapped up on the side, & a small bag of chips (UTZ-original flavor). *Well I get to Tianos, approach the check out desk, & a man asks me if I have a call in order? I reply- yes and our last name. He says ok. Turns around and he helps another man, finish wrapping up the 3 subs, and bagging all 3 subs, 3 individually wrapped pickles, & 3 bags of chips, all in 2 separate medium-large size brown paper bags. Totaled $27.34, I had a $50 bill, he asked me if I had the 0.34 cents, so I was happy to help, I sprinted thru the restaurant & to the jeep, told my husband, that they are low on change & I needed 0.35 cents. I return very quickly back inside & hand the man the 0.35 (a quarter & a dime) & even tell him to keep the pennie in case someone else needed it. So I got $23.00 back in change. Now the ride home from Tianos is approximately a 12-17 mins. Get home, food is still good, nice and warm, of course I had heat on full blast due to being so cold outside, so that kept my subs and fry good and warm. The 1st 2 subs were made exactly as I had ordered over the phone. The next sub, the one with no mushrooms, only suppose to have extra mayonnaise, steak, cheese, and onions on toasted hoagie/sub bun. I made it CLEAR, IM HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO MUSHROOMS. I'm so glad I always thouroughly look over and inspect my food, very detailed, bc I found 3 mushrooms, one on each side and 1 directly in the middle. I couldn't eat my sub at all bc of where it had mushrooms that had touched my steak, cheese, & onions....
Read moreI love tianos. This experience is from today only. I hate to leave a bad review for a restaurant that I've loved for years. But today I order a pizza it was great, but the parmesan they gave us was molded. We didn't notice till after putting it on our pizza. The waitress took it back and gave us a new parmesan, but what isn't right is they didn't offer to replace the food that was ruined. My daughter ate half of a piece before noticing mine had blue spots on my pizza slice. It isn't the money or the pizza that I'm upset about, it happens even to good restaurants, an honest mistske, but they didn't even seem to care that our food was ruined. Owner threw my credit card back at me and said it obviously needed to be free and shoved the food across the counter to me. I order to go from here weekly along with a bunch of co-workers. I usually have my food picked up but decided to go myself. After the owner stormed off another lady took my payment. I just paid what he said it was. Never been disrespected before in my life asking for clarification of the total! Turns out I was charged 2 bucks extra for a sub that wasn’t a foot long. Called them Back to tell them and they didn’t care. Told them I wouldn’t eat there again and they said “that’s fine” and hung up. Goes to show what they really think about...
