We recently had Cranberry Creek cater the dinner for our 200-guest wedding, and they did an amazing job. From day one Jim (Catering Manager) truly valued our service by treating us well at the tastings, and was available to answer any questions (and if you're planning a wedding, you know that many questions will inevitably arise) in person and via email, and always responded promptly.
When the big day came, Cranberry Creek executed so well, and the meal went off without a hitch. They also cut and plated the cake for us so it was ready to go after the meal, as well as answered all of our specific requests in regards to the food and drinks. All of the food was delicious (we had the cordon bleu and the pot roast), and the menu was just the right amount of food for a hearty and delicious dinner. It was the perfect temperature when they served it, and I know that only helped the already delicious taste. Our guests have been commenting to us days and weeks after the wedding, letting us know how much they enjoyed not only the wedding, but the food. There were many satisfied guests that night, including the bride and groom ourselves. I would highly recommend Cranberry Creek to cater your Madison-area wedding. You will not be...
Read moreMy wife and I first went here with a Bucky Book coupon. Every time we've been here the food has never disappointed. Don't know how they do it, but it's pretty amazing. I've tried many burgers, including the black bean burger. My wife likes breakfast and their dinners. You'll leave stuffed and happy.
We also happened to be getting married. Conveniently, they had catering menus. We made an appointment with Jim who sat down with us and told us exactly what we could expect with all of the different options. We should have purchased the cake cutting service they offer - on the day of the wedding we forgot to grab cake cutting utensils. Luckily we had a clutch last minute savior bring us what we needed. Cutting the cake is a mess and not something to be trifled with when you're all dressed up.
The catering was great! They arrived right on time to the public shelter we rented for the day. Our family and friends all had kind things to say about the food we ordered. The baked cod was more popular than the chicken, most likely because our wedding guests didn't want to pick through bones while they were dressed up. It was still tasty and nobody left hungry!

Read moreWhat a disappointment. My husband and I were eager to try a new restaurant for our birthday/anniversary celebration day. We went to Cranberry Creek for lunch and from start to finish it was disappointing. First of all you must order from the counter, instead of relaxing at a table with a menu and a beverage. Next, I served myself diet coke that was too watered down. Still ready to give it a chance, they served me my fish & chips. The fish was horribly overcooked and tough. The tartar sauce tasted like no tartar sauce I've ever had - it was made with some kind of sweet relish that was just awful. The coleslaw was decent as were the fries. The strangely puffed-out muffin and butter with cranberry in it was not really complementing the meal. The ketchup was also a bit strange - was it from a can? No one EVER came by to ask about the food. We sadly left and will never, ever return. It was alot of money for a small cup of coleslaw and some french fries. I couldn't eat the rest. Oh, and they forgot to put the bacon on my husband's turkey sandwich. But no one ever...
