Donut Palace — Restaurant in Madison

My daughter and I stop here numerous times during the week to get donuts. We love the donuts and the lady that works the window. Her attitude is always upbeat and welcoming. Today on the other hand was a train wreck. There was a lady that was working the cash register that I have personally never seen before. So I’m assuming she is a new hire. They were super busy as usual, and she was doing her absolute best. The older gentleman that was making the donuts initially yell at everyone. He then proceeded to yell at the lady in front of the whole store. Numerous customers were flabbergasted that he did that. If you want to address an issue take it to a private office and reprimand them there, not in front of a store full of paying customers. If that was the owner I...

Only reason I gave one star was there was a no star rating!! Wife and I had been in hospital overnight in Jackson. We went through the drive thru at this store for sausage biscuit and donut holes. I called ahead of time and was informed they did serve a very good sausage biscuit and they were fresh and warm. Well that was an OUTRIGHT LIE! The sausage biscuits were like frozen blocks and when you don’t discover this till your on the highway it’s to late then. Not many cars have a microwave😂😂. I will pay compliment were it’s due. This is my favorite go to place for my coffee. The staff is very sweet and welcoming everytime I come in. Sometimes I will get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit to go with my coffee and they are soooo good. And of course they have delicious donuts. I haven't made it through their assortment of other breakfast pastries yet, but working so close im sure I'll stray from my usual order to enjoy their other delicious looking options....
