Dreamy Teazy, a new boba milk tea and banh mi restaurant, is currently in its soft opening phase on the north side of Madison. We had the pleasure of sampling a variety of items, and here’s our take:
Drinks: Thai Tea with Boba: Refreshing with a balanced sweetness—not overly sweet, which we appreciated. It would be great if there was an option to adjust the sweetness level, but this might depend on how the beverage is prepared.
Food: Barbecue Pork Banh Mi: Flavorful with a delightful pâté and a nice kick from fresh jalapeños. The bun had a crisp exterior and soft interior, though we wished it was served warm. A bit more protein would enhance the sandwich, balancing the bread-to-meat ratio. Compared to other local options, this was perhaps the best we’ve had in the Madison area. Hmong Spicy Sausage with Sticky Rice: A standout dish. The sausage was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The sticky rice had a pleasant chew and a rich flavor, possibly from added broth. The homemade spicy fish sauce complemented the dish perfectly.

As my favorite Hollywood assassin says,...

The service is also really good here. Friendly, quick.
I can imagine making this a...
