We got two waffles, a travel mug coffee refill, and two tiny cups of hot chocolate. The bill came to $26 -$28. A bit pricey. I know the waffles we're $8 each, but didn't look at the cost of the other items. It seems like the cost if the other stuff must be in line with other coffee shops in the area. It was not at all busy, there were several empty tables, nevertheless it took almost a half hour for two waffles to come out if the kitchen. They were very good waffles, but if average size, and with no toppings (I didn't opt for them). A half hour to produce two waffles and put some syrup and butter into small cups seems excessively slow. The location is not great due to parking, and the place is very small. There are some interesting looking chocolate items in the case, but given the other options in the area, nothing on this first visit was compelling enough to make this a place I go...

I was looking for a specific type of candy WITH peanuts and called a few local chocolate shops. One said "We'll have that in 2 weeks." One said "We have a peanut candy, but it's spicy and not my first choice." Madison Chocolate Company said, "Ooh, we have a Peanut Butter Chew-Chew that people are going nuts over!" The drive there was almost as enjoyable as the atmosphere, all windy roads near the arboretum, and I LOVED the covered off-street parking! That's a HUGE bonus for me because I like to run errands with my dogs and leave the sun roof open for them. The service was excellent. The decor has a cozy yet airy, comfortable-with-a dash-of-whimsical vibe that made me wish I could've stayed longer. I'll definitely be bringing my bestie and hubby here for a coffee &...

This café is delightful. Cozy atmosphere, great jazz Playlist and the employees there were incredibly cordial and very helpful in explaining the different assortments of chocolates and coffees. I had a latte which was surprisingly good. Extremely smooth with fruity and foral accents at the end.

The Turkish coffee chocolate is a great blend of coffee, spice and chocolate. The star anise does not overpower the rest of the chocolate and the crunch of the coffee bits compliment the buttery smooth texture of the ganache-like chocolate inside. The mini caramel turtle was not too thick in texture and had a satisfying salty accent and struck a nice balance with the crunchy pecan on top.

5/5 would come back again. Can't imagine cafes get much better than this...

Updated review: this place is still amazing. We make a day out of coming here, and buy extras to bring home. This is literally the best bakery I've been to in multiple states. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. As a Celiac, finding a delicious, dedicated gluten free bakery is life changing. I had my first crossiant in 4 years and it was everything I had hoped for. My daughter has a scone she also really enjoyed. The service is also really amazing. Everyone was so kind. They were genuinely happy to talk to us. When I mentioned we were going to the zoo, they gave us directions which helped me too. I live in Waukesha where we lack in gluten free bakery options, and I very well may come back on my next day off of work for more.

Things I had today: Fudgy espresso brownie A dry cappuccino (their usual is more milk than foam) Cocoa nib steeped cold brew An 8-piece box of chocolate truffles The brownie was really good. The cappuccino was enjoyable and the cold brew also tastes great without any foam or cream or milk or sugar. I haven't tasted the truffles yet. I had a less than ideal experience yesterday at their other location. I wrote about it and the owner was very cool headed, responsible and kind enough to nudge me to go try again. This is a fun spot and the coffees are also good. Don't judge me, I can drink many coffees at once just like how some people can drink a 6-pack of beer.

It was ok. The coffee was not great. I was really rather disappointed by it. Now I can't speak for the chocolate and other treats they create. But tons of people came in to get some, so I must assume that they are good. I've also been told that they have the best miel in town. So try that. The inside area was also way too small. Definitely not designed to be a place where you can go to study. Parking was also tight and cramped, but that's mostly due to the fact that a huge truck is hard to park in most places.
