One of the best Indian restaurants in Madison! Buffet is always hot and full, with food rotating on a daily basis. Great price for lunch buffet. Service is excellent, super nice servers. Drinks are always refilled on time. Love the samoosas, naan, tikka masala, goat curry, and biryani rice. Everything taste great! Try the fried naan! Mango ice cream is pretty good, creamy and smooth. Try the mango milkshake. They offer dinner specials. The menu includes northern and southern Indian plates. Also, they have some beers from India.

We tried garlic, aloo, and spinach naans. All were very good, but garlic naan stood out. Malai Kofta is scrumptious with the right mix of spices. Paneer Bhuna wasn't what I expected, but nothing too bad. It was a mix of stir-fried veggies with paneer blocks in gravy. Overall, it's a good place to have Indian food near the university. I was surprised by its lack of popularity, so I'd call it underrated.

This was our first visit. Excellent food with a large number of delicious vegetarian options but I do wish they offered a vegetarian curry as well. Service was also excellent. Food was served hot and fresh. We all ordered medium spice which was a little too spicy for two of the diners but they still enjoyed their food. They seem to do a huge carry out business!! Easy parking.

This place exceeded expectations. I was actually in the plaza hoping to get some pizza when I saw the Roman Candle at that location was closed, so I thought why not try some Indian food since this place was right there. So points for location, not quite downtown, but not too out of the way. Now, I'm not big into Indian food, so this felt like a leap of faith here. There was no indoor dining, which was fine (these are the times, ya know), they have a big menu and they took my order pretty quickly and gave me an accurate wait time. Sure enough, after about 10 minutes, I got my medium-spicy Chicken Tikka Masala with rice. It was delicious and not terribly expensive either (but then again, I don't have a great gauge for how expensive Indian food should be). The sauce was amazing and there was a lot of chicken, unfortunately in big chunks (wish they were smaller, but that's what a knife is for). I loved every second of it and it sent me on an Indian food kick. I look forward to going to this place again and trying something else...

Great food and phenomenal customer service.

I had to make a large catering order for a staff gathering. Within minutes of me submitting my online request, the restaurant called me to take my order.

On the night of the event, the receipt was lost, and my accounting team still needed to see an itemized receipt. I contacted the restaurant via their online form again, and very quickly they sent me an email with photos of the itemized invoice.

Everyone loved the food (and unfortunately I was not in attendance to enjoy it) - but the customer service was above and beyond. They were so attentive to my needs and went out of their way to assist me. 10/10 recommend for catering!! The experience was simple and professional.

Update - I made another catering order. The staff remembered me from the last time and helped me out in a timely manner. I was able to get the order placed immediately. And everyone raved about the food! Thank you,...

This is one of my most favorite restaurants ever! We have been going here since my kids were little. They have always been so incredibly kind to them. And us. And I just love their food. I have eaten Indian food all over the country and they are my favorite. I really love their Masala sauce! Masala Paneer and Vegetable Masala. Oh, and the Sagg Paneer.

A little story - One time when my younger daughter was little (about 7), she started crying softly when we were there. It took awhile for her to answer because she didn't want us to see her crying. There was no Sagg Paneer on the buffet that day. She knew it was a silly thing to be crying about. So she went to the bathroom to compose herself. When she came out there was a bowl of Sagg Paneer waiting at her plate. Can you say happy child. Can you say customers for life!

Gotta love a place with...
