My daughter and myself came here to eat. We waited in line for about 15 mins before our order was taken, which I had no problem with because the cashier and a wonderful guy named Marcus made sure to communicate with us to let us know what the probelm was. Upon placing my order I began to see how short staffed they were. They suddenly got slammed back to back. Marcus made sure to communicate with each customer about their order and when he got to me he explained that there was a wait on mild chicken. Because it was for my daughter I said I'd gladly wait. During my wait for my hot and fresh food I observed many customers getting upset with Marcus and the cashier because of how busy they were and how short staffed they were. Customers was cutting in line and complaining and though it was busy when they walked in. The cashier I noticed was getting a bit upset but she kept it together. But Marcus. He held everything together and did his very best even with people getting upset with him. Marcus is a very valuable employee and if I could hire him myself I would. He is the definition of a caring employee but even better as a person. Thank you for our positive experience Marcus! Keep doing what you are doing because people notice! While visiting this location I-20 exit 114 Madison GA @ TA truck stop today 12/08/2020, said manager stated to me " I shouldn't COME to this location" after I expressed my disdain for the Popeye's being out of several menu items(ie spicy chicken,1/2 gallon tea NO bags to put tea in). In front of her staff and management team were those comments made and several inappropriate other comments, while waiting on my order I then heard her continue to discuss in a hostile, confrontational tone said incident with several members of her staff.
