We're here sitting, the food is great, the customers seem satisfied, and a request I had to restock the Coke Zero syrup was met immediately! Brilliant service, genuinely.
However, the atmosphere here is saddening! The employees had nearly zero energy (the person serving the chips asked us how we're doing, mind you) and the person on the register could barely be heard. Did someone die recently in the staff? Did a manager tell them they couldn't talk? Was there no holiday motivation? Have they worked two weeks straight?
No matter the reason, why does it legitimately feel like these employees are held here against their last remaining droplet of will? Can someone look into this? Can we restore some nature to these employees' lives and give them some hope that they'll make something of themselves one day?
I tried asking how they were doing and saying thank you to every possible action of kindness. They didn't even have the desperation to soak that up. They're that demotivated. Please, Salsarita's, save your face! No matter how great the corporate is, the kitchen, marketing, business, etc, the only face that represents you is the counter and lobby. And here, it hurts to see.
Everyone, visit this location and help these poor employees...
Read moreI came here one day for lunch because, supposedly, it was very good. I ordered online, to be picked up a bit later. I arrived at the time they said, told me I needed to wait a bit, which was completely fine. Since I waited 15 extra minutes, I was in a bit of a rush, and didn’t think I needed to double check my food order before leaving. When I got home, (with 3 meals in tow) i open everything up to find everything is COMPLETELY wrong. I ordered two sets of tacos, and a burrito. I got one set of tacos (haphazardly thrown into the box), one burrito bowl (which I assume was supposed to be my BURRITO), and another burrito bowl, that was steak/beef(or some nasty looking chicken), and I ordered chicken. Deciding against driving all the way back to the store, I decided to just suck it up and eat it. It couldn’t be too bad, no matter what I got, right? WRONG. My food was cold, very spicy, (I don’t particularly care for heavy spice), and gross. It did not taste good. I was very disappointed. The prices are very high for the amount of food, because the portions are SO small. So, unless you’re looking for a very disappointing, disgusting off-brand Chipotle, I suggest you eat elsewhere. Thanks...
Read moreI usually go here a lot but, the crew that was in today were doing a terrible job. I asked for the two taco combo and the guy that was fixing it did not even heat up the tortilla, I had to tell him to. Then he gave a less than what would be a spoonful of meat. The meat was literally in one corner of the taco and wouldn’t even spread across the bottom of it because it wasn’t enough. When I asked could I get a little more, the girl beside him said “that’s the correct portion.” All the times I’ve been here I know for a fact that was not the correct portion. On top of that, they were all looking at me weird because I had asked him to heat up the tortilla…. Also noticed they were not making sure the food was sanitary. There was a fly just flying around, it landed in the white rice. I would not go back here if this crew I in there, they obviously don’t care to do their job right. I took my business elsewhere. However, the guy who did start to fix my food was trying to be friendly and nice, it seemed like he was new. That part I...
