I’d like to share my lunch experience at the Wendy’s on 11300 Country Line Road in Madison today at approximately 13:03 hrs (1:03 PM civilian time). Upon my arrival, the place was empty but for two other customers who were already seated. I’ll start with the good. The overall interior of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The young man that took my order (Fajardo) was very pleasant and helpful and more importantly he got the order right. That’s where the good ends. After waiting the requisite amount of time my name is called and I pick up my order and take a seat in a both facing the counter. I start eating my meal and cannot help seeing that the man working the fries station was fiddling with his ball cap and fiddling with his dreads for a good 2 – 3 minutes while operating the French fry station. In between him filling French fry orders, I must have seen him at least twice munching on fries and going back to adjusting his ball cap and continuing fiddling with his dreads. At no time did I observe this young man wash his hands after repeatedly touching his cap and mane. I found that extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. During this time there were at a minimum 7 workers behind the counter with at least two ‘management’ personnel. Not one of these ‘managers’ said anything to the French fry man about his actions while on the line. There were a few maintenance men working in the cooking area and each time one of them went out to their truck, upon their return they immediately washed their hands before going back into the cooking area. Ironic wouldn’t you say… Moving on to the food, my burger was blah… just two pieces of bread with a piece of dried out mystery meat and a piece of cheese. The fries were warm at best and half of them went uneaten after witnessing the fry station employee actions which kind made me feel like YUK! I said nothing while I was there as I did not want the ‘manager’ to go off on the fry person, if he/she even found the situation disturbing. I for one will NEVER return to this location and it’s not because I am a primadona. I realize it is fast food but part of fast should be sanitary as well. Dave would be rolling...
Read moreMy fiancée went to grab the whole family wendys for dinner. After spending 30 minutes in the drive thru she was finally served. All of the burgers were soggy... obviously sitting too long. The chicken nuggets were old and cold. A 10 piece! Old and cold! Top it off...she didn't even get what she ordered for herself. The only thing that was good were the softdrinks (kinda hard to screw that up)
I have never ever had worse food from any wendys ever! I will never eat at this wendys again and I strongly urge the owners of the store to shut it down or sell it! The bad service and bad food have been going on for a long time. If you're not going to care about your operation... make way for someone else. If you're not willing to put in the effort... hire some good leadership that will. What a complete disappointment... thanks for the soda. Oh yeah... I forgot I wanted a coke but they were out... we had to get Dr pepper. Turns out the sodas were screwed up too. Yeah...disappointment complete.
In closing feel free to look up all of my other reviews on every other place I've ever been to and you will not see any as negative as this one. That should...
Read moreTHE. WORST. WENDY'S. About four years ago, the service got awful- waiting in line thirty+ minutes and half the food would be cold and the other half would be wrong. So we swore the place off. But it's so convenient to the house and we like the salad option so we have tried to give this store a chance every 5-6 months or so. We usually also order 2 kids cheeseburgers and make SURE to ask for "ketchup and cheese only" and they always say, "yes, nothing else comes on the kids burgers." So they dont put it on the screen. And 85% of the time we end up with mustard, onions and pickles. I even begged once, "Can you PLEASE add a note to make sure it's only ketchup and cheese?" And the order taker got an attitude, refused to add it saying that's the only way it's served so he couldnt add it. Tonight, once again we confirmed, and once we got home it was wrong. I called the store 5 times, it rings then goes to voicemail where the mailbox is full. I'm so mad that I keep giving them a chance and they keep messing up such a simple order. It's literally a KID'S BURGER, HOW IS...
