I used to eat here regularly and the quality of food just seemed to go downhill really quickly especially after the week long Hibachi Stomach Poisoning- Ick!!! 😤
I kept checking on them and saw recent reviews that said they kind of scaled back their selection & focused on the QUALITY NOT QUANTITY and lowered their price. . .
Quite a few people posted the food was tasty again and that there was a notable difference!
I decided last week to stop in on Monday (Mandarin House was Closed - NOT gonna lie , Imma a DEVOTED customer now and spoiled rotten by them) - I was CRAVING 🍣 SUSHI!!
I didn’t eat the Buffet -I only purchased 4 Sushi Rolls To Go . . She told me they were $4.99 Each. . Nit gonna lie- I was afraid of getting suck again but sooooo was craving it. . . So took a chance
Soooooo Yesterday - Monday . . Yupp Mandarin was Closed. . . I decided to do the Buffet this time . . AND take SuShI 🍣 Home . .
I really wanted the Buffet to taste like it used to, it was alright but nothing to go out of your way for And a lot greasier than before. .
I only got 2 rolls to take home this time. . And the charge was $13.06 . .
Overall, I think unless totally desperate- Imma done for good...
Read more!!! WORST buffet ever!! Don't waste your money. We ate here right around a hour after they opened. Everything was old and nasty. No food was put out new in the mean time or even stirred. I get some food might be old or nasty when you go to a buffet but it was every item. The brocoli and chicken was so old the brocoli was turning white. The coconut chicken or shrimp which ever it was, was so old it was like a white cream covered rock that you couldn't eat let alone cut up. Couldn't cut hardly any chicken in half. So I thought I'll try the hibachi it's gotta be fresh. WRONG!! I kept it simple and got chicken, steak and noodles with teriyaki. The steak was TERRIBLE one bite and I couldn't finish it i spit it out. Wifee tried it too same response. WORSE steak she has ever had she said. The chicken was dry asf and nasty. He even managed to burn the noodles. Wasn't busy with multiple orders just sucked. Pretty sad when the fortune cookie and crab rangoons were the only edible things there. The only thing "lucky" about this buffet is if we get lucky and don't get food poisoning. RUN!!...
Read moreWent here for dinner with coworkers due to its convenient location to the Baymont Inn across the way. They have almost everything you could want from a Chinese buffet and a hibachi grill, as well as desserts. Under $15 and they do have Chinese beer and speak mandarin as well as english. The floors seemed slippery, not sure how to take that, but I was glad it was not sticky to walk on. The food was VERY HOT and I felt confident that the food was fresher than other buffets I had eaten. I stuck primarily to the chickens, the teriyaki chicken was the worst. On the other end, I highly recommended the Hawaiian and General TSO's. Would eat here again considering options. There are at least two other Chinese Buffets near by, can't compare just be aware. We chose this one basically from the Google Reviews and were not disappointed. Recommended, and if this review helps, give...
